Team Description
The Deal Operations team partners closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal, Customer Success, and Business Systems to ensure the seamless execution of commercial transactions. We enable efficient, accurate, and scalable Quote-to-Cash processes while maintaining operational excellence across the business. As a trusted partner to go-to-market teams, we help drive revenue by optimizing systems, improving workflows, and supporting complex SaaS deals throughout the sales lifecycle.
Role Description
As a Senior Deal Operations Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the execution of complex commercial transactions across the NEMEA and SEMEA regions. You'll ensure opportunities move efficiently from commercial approval through order booking while maintaining a high standard of operational accuracy. This role combines deep Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration, Salesforce CPQ troubleshooting, and a continuous improvement mindset to help scale our commercial operations.
In this role, you'll:
- Support the end-to-end execution of complex commercial transactions across the NEMEA and SEMEA regions.
- Review sales opportunities for operational readiness prior to order booking.
- Validate product configurations, pricing, commercial terms, and booking requirements.
- Resolve operational issues that impact successful order execution.
- Manage approval workflows and support timely order processing.
- Partner closely with Sales and Deal Desk throughout the sales cycle.
- Support the Quote-to-Cash process from approved opportunity through order booking.
- Maintain high levels of order quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal, Customer Success, and Business Systems to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Support quarter-end and year-end operational activities to help meet business deadlines.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce CPQ issues related to quoting, approvals, pricing, product configuration, and order processing.
- Investigate quote calculations, product rules, price rules, and approval workflow issues.
- Partner with Business Systems to implement scalable process and system improvements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for Salesforce and CPQ enhancements.
- Develop knowledge articles and identify opportunities to simplify quoting processes.
- Recommend improvements to Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, NetSuite, and operational workflows.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, reporting improvements, and the ongoing evolution of Deal Operations.
- Build trusted partnerships across cross-functional teams and serve as an operational advisor for complex commercial transactions.
We're looking for candidates who have:
- 5+ years' experience in Deal Operations, Order Management, Revenue Operations or Commercial Operations.
- Experience supporting complex SaaS commercial transactions.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes and commercial operations.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, and NetSuite ERP.
- Experience supporting complex SaaS commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve operational issues.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
- Experience supporting critical quarter-end or year-end operational activities.
Nice to have experience:
- Experience supporting global or multi-region commercial operations.
- Experience contributing to Salesforce CPQ enhancements or system implementations.
- Knowledge of automation tools or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience creating documentation, knowledge articles, or operational playbooks.
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management for business systems.
- Experience working within a high-growth SaaS organization.
