Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Data Analyst (Web3) who lives and breathes on-chain data to join our core centralized Product division in a full-time remote capacity globally. Operating with significant autonomy within our core data collective, your primary expectation centers on the proactive generation of ecosystem intelligence rather than executing passive ad-hoc requests. Shifting completely away from routine database maintenance or isolated product telemetry tracking, you will take full ownership of Trust Wallet’s global Web3 market intelligence function—uncovering shifts in DEX fee structures, identifying wallet market share trends, and surfacing game-changing data narratives before leadership even knows to look. This position requires an on-chain ledger craftsman with 4+ years of dedicated web3 analytics history who writes advanced blockchain SQL queries fluidly, builds macro public dashboards smoothly inside Dune Analytics or Flipside Crypto, and translates abstract cryptographic market discourse into clear business directions.

Key Responsibilities

• Vertical Competitor Intelligence Ownership: Formulate, monitor, and execute automated competitor analytics matrices across core product verticals, tracking protocol volumes, user retention patterns, and market share indicators for swaps, DEX aggregators, and staking pools natively utilizing Data Analyst best practices.
• EVM and SVM Ledger Auditing: Track and extract on-chain transaction data lines across major Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) layers (including BNB Chain, Ethereum core, Base, and Arbitrum) alongside Solana architectures to expose macro user adoption shifts.
• Ecosystem Trend Synthesis: Monitor active developer circles and cryptographic discourse networks across channels like X (formerly Twitter), translating emerging Web3 narratives into concrete, testable data queries worth answering.
• Advanced Public Telemetry Dashboard Construction: Code, structure, and deploy highly performant, automated analytical queries and telemetry dashboards natively leveraging SQL scripts across Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, Nansen, or Token Terminal.
• Internal Data Enrichment Alignment: Collaborate closely alongside the internal backend data squad to enrich core product performance metrics with macro ecosystem-level transaction context.
• Executive Narrative Briefing: Distill multi-million row cryptographic data abnormalities and protocol shifts into clear, highly scannable, non-technical narratives to brief executive leadership and guide product roadmaps.
• Automation Pipeline Infrastructure Support: Script and deploy automated data extraction, parsing, and cleaning scripts to maintain fresh on-chain data flows inside local product repositories.
• Protocol Economic Evaluation: Evaluate the underlying structural economics of decentralized applications, tracking liquidity pool depth, staking token yields, cross-chain bridge parameters, and automated market maker slip tolerances.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of verified professional history running advanced blockchain analytics, cryptocurrency data science, technical smart contract auditing, on-chain market research, or decentralized financial consulting.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of public ledger database engines, transaction log decoding, EVM internal call structures, token standards, and block header metadata.
• Expert-tier programming proficiency compiling complex analytical data sets, multi-table joins, and window functions natively utilizing SQL applied to raw, un-indexed blockchain datasets.
• Practical operational familiarity constructing dashboards, filtering protocol events, and monitoring smart contract parameters natively using Data Analyst tools inside Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, Nansen, or Token Terminal.
• Demonstrated history independently tracking web3 developments and proactively translating social consensus strings into robust data investigations without requiring direct guidance.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics in business-fluent English, showcasing an uncompromised ability to present abstract technical findings elegantly to non-technical stakeholders.
