About Precision AQ: Precision AQ is a premier, internationally recognized life science consulting titan, pharmaceutical market-access innovator, and real-world evidence (RWE) analytics leader on an absolute mission to reengineer healthcare commercialization pipelines globally. As a specialized collective within the Precision Medicine Group, Precision AQ converts abstract, large-scale clinical registries and structured patient data into actionable intelligence that transforms commercial brand strategies and accelerates patient access to breakthrough medical therapies. Operating across multiple global geographies, the organization partners in lockstep with distributed health economists, strategy consultants, and data engineers to solve the industry’s most intricate problems in therapy areas like oncology, immunology, and rare diseases. Precision AQ provides high-agency, domain-expert senior data analysts with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage modern big data tools, manipulate multi-million-row medical claims databases, and shape life-changing healthcare insight delivery frameworks safely worldwide.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Data Analyst to join our core centralized Data Science & Analytics collective in a full-time remote capacity across India. In this high-leverage data consulting track, you will step up to claim individual strategic and operational accountability for directing analytics infrastructure around oncology patient journeys, Line of Therapy (LoT) frameworks, and multi-tenant structured patient claims data. Shifting completely away from monotone generic ledger tracking or superficial data entry loops, you will operate as a principal healthcare data architect—transforming vast, disconnected healthcare insurance datasets into structured business models. This position requires a life sciences consulting veteran with a minimum of 5 years of analytical experience who maps complex treatment paths fluidly natively using Data Scientist statistical parameters, builds performant pipeline transformations smoothly natively using Data Analyst scripting, and designs source-to-target mapping registries confidently natively utilizing SQL environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oncology Patient Journey Mapping: Design, document, and execute complex analytics models to map patient-level longitudinal data strings and clinical pathways, tracking precise Line of Therapy (LoT) transitions cleanly natively utilizing Data Scientist methodologies.
  • Structured Claims Database Triage: Analyze, clean, and manipulate massive multi-tenant healthcare insurance claims systems, extracting statistical insights from specialized registries including DRG, IQVIA, McKesson, and Symphony datasets.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct high-discipline exploratory calculations over unstructured and structured patient histories to assess treatment patterns, medication adherence rates, and healthcare utilization behaviors.
  • HEOR and HCRU Analytical Support: Engineer data-backed frameworks to support Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Healthcare Resource Utilization (HCRU) analyses, managing incidence tracking, disease prevalence scoring, burden calculations, and cost-of-illness evaluation charts.
  • Performant SQL Query Optimization: Build, scale, and optimize high-throughput database queries and data warehouse aggregation pipelines to reliably extract analytical records natively using SQL execution layers.
  • Automated Python Scripting: Program maintainable data engineering code blocks and calculation wrappers in Python to automate routine ingestion, parsing, and cleaning of multi-state claims records natively leveraging Data Analyst toolsets.
  • Executive Insight Presentation: Synthesize abstract mathematical definitions into high-fidelity client-facing summaries, creating reusable reporting dashboards, presentation decks, and interactive visual analytics rows (via Power BI or Tableau).
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Alignment: Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering loops, collaborating in lockstep with distributed HEOR experts, market-access directors, and database infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Data Governance and Reproducibility: Enforce rigid personal data governance, absolute row integrity tracking, clear documentation protocols, and total script reproducibility across secure data servers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history running advanced data analytics, big data systems programming, healthcare analytics engineering, life sciences consulting, or real-world evidence (RWE) technical placement.
  • At least 3 years of dedicated history operating explicitly inside pharmaceutical analytics agencies, healthcare informatics departments, or healthcare software service frameworks.
  • Deep, authoritative technical command of statistical modeling concepts, medical billing nomenclatures (ICD, CPT codes), electronic health record (EHR/EMR) frameworks, and CMS public data structures.
  • Expert-tier capability modeling patient clinical records, tracking longitudinal disease drift, and parsing healthcare claims anomalies natively utilizing Data Scientist algorithms.
  • Practical operational familiarity writing custom pipeline logic, tuning queries, and building statistical dashboards natively using Data Analyst software platforms (specifically requiring expert-tier mastery of SQL, Python data frames, and Microsoft Excel).
  • Possession of a formal university Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Pharmacy, Statistics, Life Sciences, Electronics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication traits in business-fluent English, enabling uncompromised confidence when translating abstract numerical outputs into clear commercial business insights.
  • Location Context: Position open exclusively to qualified technical data analysts based permanently and resident within **India** to operate under a 100% remote layout.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior commercial analytics history operating explicitly within oncology clinical parameters, complex immunology treatment guidelines, or rare disease longitudinal studies.
  • Hands-on functional experience conducting stakeholder discovery workshops or building re-deployable dashboard packages in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Working familiarity with multi-geography global health datasets or cross-border insurance claim schema translations.
  • An outcome-driven personal philosophy rooted in high data curiosity, a self-managing work style, a passion for real-world health improvement, and an intense drive to structurally unbottleneck life sciences intelligence.

What We Offer

  • Market-Competitive Indian Salaried Blueprint: An attractive full-time baseline compensation package calibrated precisely to evaluate your healthcare domain depth, SQL programming craftsmanship, and real-world evidence validation speeds.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly shape, lead, and engine-configure the analytics models power-routing data transformation for breakthrough pharmaceutical therapies.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote setting, high home-office trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction out of any city in India.
  • Integration into a respected, mission-driven global network that values technical excellence, equal opportunity parameters, and continuous professional exploration.
