Optro
View Company ProfileOptro (operating under optro.ai, and formerly widely known as AuditBoard) is the premier, enterprise-grade AI-powered Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software pioneer, connected risk innovator, and regulatory data management powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive, high-velocity internal audit, InfoSec threat landscape mitigation, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls alignment, and enterprise risk management (ERM) system of action for regulated corporations globally. Originally founded in 2014 as SOXHUB before expanding and rebranding to AuditBoard, the company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern institutional oversight—where enterprise assurance leaders lose critical operational momentum to manual control-testing spreadsheets, siloed multi-framework compliance backlogs, delayed risk visibility, and expensive third-party audit bottlenecks—by deploying a sophisticated, agentic risk ecosystem. Moving far beyond traditional, passive check-the-box regulatory logs or basic static document templates, Optro natively unifies real-time predictive risk metrics, cross-framework control mapping, automated continuous control testing, and its cutting-edge AI governance solution (accelerated by the strategic acquisition of FairNow to safely govern employee AI usage policy and adoption) into a single high-availability operational framework. Trusted by more than 50 percent of the Fortune 500—including massive corporate ecosystems like Cisco, Amgen, Priceline, Lyft, and Snowflake—the platform processes extensive regulatory workflows and enterprise risk profiles with production-hardened precision. Backed by private equity powerhouse Hg Capital following a monumental ~$3 billion transaction, and scaling beyond $300 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), the organization deploys secure multi-tenant data structures, customizable business intelligence metrics, and deep Microsoft enterprise suite hooks built to maintain bulletproof data integrity across massive financial and operational scales. What sets Optro apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing fragmented, reactive audit processes with absolute organizational transparency and connected compliance velocity; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive big data telemetry and frontline internal operational accountability, the enterprise remains the definitive, category-defining cornerstone of modern algorithmic risk intelligence and global corporate digital compliance scaling.
