Savvy is reinventing wealth management with AI-native tools. Founded by Ritik Malhotra, Savvy partners with financial advisors to provide a modern platform, marketing support, investment management, and client services. Advisors using Savvy service up to 50% more households and save 19 hours a week. AI is central to their operations, with Savvy Intelligence (released April 2026) being the first AI built for wealth managers, and internal use of tools like Claude across the company.

Savvy is a Series C company with 170+ employees, $200M raised, and aiming for $100M ARR this year. Inc. ranked Savvy as the No. 1 fastest-growing financial services company in America in 2026.

The Role:

Savvy is rapidly scaling, and the transition team is critical for onboarding new advisors. As a Senior Client Transition Specialist, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end transition of Savvy’s most complex advisor books across custodians like Schwab and Fidelity, including transition planning, paperwork generation, and completed account transfers.
  • Act as an extension of the Onboarding Manager, assigning new onboardings to specialists, maintaining visibility across all in-flight onboardings, and rebalancing work as needed.
  • Solve complex issues and escalations (e.g., NIGO, custodian, vendor, data, advisor) with the Onboarding Manager, ensuring quick resolution and advisor communication.
  • QA paperwork, transition spreadsheets, and trackers on high-risk books before submission, and conduct root-cause reviews on NIGOs to implement fixes.
  • Assist the Onboarding Manager with managing the Transition Specialists, including 1:1s, coaching, performance input, and onboarding new team members. Formal direct reports expected in 2027.
  • Lead pre-go-live transition planning with Sales and advisor teams, addressing data readiness, sequencing, standing instructions, and go-live risks.
  • Own and maintain the transition playbook, identifying and documenting process and automation improvements, including AI workflows.
  • Report on transition health (turnaround time, NIGO rate, stalled accounts) and flag risks early to leadership.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5 to 8+ years in client operations, advisor transitions, onboarding, or account management in wealth management, with experience owning at least one full advisor book transition end-to-end.
  • You have hands-on experience with Schwab and/or Fidelity custodial platforms and a deep understanding of account transfers, repaper, LPOA, ACAT paperwork, and NIGO resolution.
  • You excel at managing multiple concurrent, deadline-driven workstreams and anticipating risks before they arise.
  • You demonstrate strong judgment, making consequential decisions with incomplete information and explaining your reasoning.
  • You have experience coaching, training, assigning work to, or QA'ing others, with or without formal authority, and are eager to manage a team formally.
  • You possess strong data hygiene and spreadsheet skills, including lookups, validation, and cleaning messy custodian exports.
  • You have built at least one process or automation improvement that others adopted.
  • You are fluent in using AI tools for data and document work, with clear judgment about when to trust versus verify outputs.
  • You communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, keeping advisors, custodians, and teammates calm and informed under pressure.
  • You have a collaborative, low-ego, self-starter attitude with extreme ownership and comfort in a high-growth, constantly changing environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Broker Protocol transitions, advisor teams, or books over $100M.
  • Familiarity with tools like Orion, Salesforce, DocuSign, and bulk onboarding or CRM import tooling.
  • Experience building workflows or automations with AI tools beyond single-chat use.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup, custodian, RIA, or broker-dealer.
  • Experience formally managing a small operations team.
