We're looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives on building long-term client relationships, leading strategic marketing conversations, and helping clients maximize the value of their digital marketing investments. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, digitally savvy, data-driven, and enjoys collaborating with both clients and internal teams while working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Manage and nurture relationships across 15+ active monthly client accounts.
- Lead digital marketing strategy discussions covering SEO, PPC, websites, and AI-driven visibility.
- Coordinate with internal marketing, design, and development teams to execute client initiatives.
- Manage client requests and oversee smaller website and marketing projects.
- Present campaign performance, insights, and results to clients.
- Educate clients on digital marketing strategies and available services.
- Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling and long-term relationship building.
- Participate in internal meetings and client-facing strategy sessions.
- Build trust through proactive communication and exceptional client service.
Requirements
Must Have
- 3+ years of account management experience managing local, regional, or national accounts.
- Experience working with at least one of the following industries:
- Professional Services (Legal, Accounting, Mortgage)
- Home Services (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Restoration)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including:
- SEO
- PPC
- Websites
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools and their role in improving online visibility.
- Experience managing website-related client projects.
- Comfortable managing 15+ active client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and sound judgment regarding when to involve subject-matter experts.
- Willingness to grow into leading strategic marketing conversations with internal support.
Nice to Have
- Experience growing client relationships through consultative upselling.
- Previous agency experience.
- Strong understanding of performance reporting and digital marketing analytics.
- Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams.
