Reporting to a Trader on Securities Lending, this 8-month term role (January 11, 2027 – August 27, 2027) involves managing high-volume trades and returns, driving automation projects, and shaping desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire return process, ensuring proper booking, settlement, and daily inventory balance across counterparties.

  • Monitor recall notifications, corporate action instructions, and contract discrepancies to prevent financial discrepancies.

  • Act as a central connector between front-office trading, Treasury, Middle Office, and Engineering teams.

  • Build automation tools (40% project focus) using SQL, Google Apps Script, and Sheets to optimize revenue flows and eliminate manual friction.

  • Troubleshoot daily operational breakdowns and implement solutions.

  • Learn about the fintech industry and securities finance market.
