The business partners with established international manufacturers and supports its dealer network through product knowledge, sales support, marketing, training, and responsive customer service. With a focus on quality, reliability, and long-term relationships, the team has built a strong presence in the Australian market.

This is a hands-on and fast-moving environment where attention to detail, clear communication, and strong organization are highly valued. The Sales Assistant will work closely with the sales team, helping them stay organized, manage customer communication, maintain accurate information, and support the day-to-day running of the sales function.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Sales, Customer Service & Marketing Assistant to provide day-to-day support to the wider team. While the role includes sales administration, it is effectively a Virtual Assistant-style position, supporting the team with internal administration, CRM management, travel arrangements, inbox management, correspondence, and a range of other tasks.

You’ll need to be comfortable working across different systems, managing multiple priorities, and taking initiative to keep things moving. The business is transitioning to NetSuite as its ERP and CRM platform. Experience with NetSuite would be desirable but is not essential. Experience using other CRM systems is important as well.

  • Ensure relevant customer, dealer, and sales information is accurately recorded.
  • Assist with general sales administration and follow-up tasks.

Customer & Supplier Support

  • Monitor, organize, and manage inboxes.
  • Review incoming emails and identify items requiring attention.
  • Draft professional email responses on behalf of team members.
  • Assist with correspondence with suppliers and, where required, customers.
  • Help manage routine enquiries and communications.
  • Escalate important or complex matters to the appropriate team member.

Marketing Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
  • Assist with organizing marketing information, documents, and materials.
  • Support marketing-related administrative tasks and activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and marketing information.
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing tasks as required.

General VA & Administrative Support

  • Assist with business travel planning, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries.
  • Assist with calendars, meetings, and appointments.
  • Organize documents, files, and information.
  • Provide general internal administrative support to the team.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects across the business.
  • Help the team stay organized and ensure important tasks don’t get missed.

As part of the application process, candidates will be asked to provide:

  • CRM/System name
  • Length of experience
  • Level of experience — Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced
  • Key tasks performed within the system

Experience with ERP systems or other business management platforms will also be highly regarded.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, stay organized, and get things done without needing constant direction.
