Risk Operations Specialist

As a Risk Operations Specialist at B2Spin, you'll be on the front line of protecting our players and our platform. Working across fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and KYC compliance, you'll combine sharp analytical thinking with a detail-oriented approach to identify risk, investigate suspicious activity, and keep our social casino environment safe and trustworthy for everyone.

What you'll do

• Detect and investigate fraudulent accounts early, using available tooling and transaction data to identify suspicious behaviour before it escalates.
• Analyse transaction reports and apply pattern recognition to surface anomalies, assess risk exposure, and inform sound operational decisions.
• Process KYC profiles and document alerts, verifying payment methods and ensuring all customer due diligence meets company policy and best practices.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk customers, obtaining additional documentation where required and maintaining a clear audit trail.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records so that investigations are well-documented, traceable, and ready for internal or external review.
• Collaborate with teammates to share findings, present investigation outcomes, and contribute to a joined-up approach to risk management.
• Consistently meet personal productivity and attendance targets, helping the team deliver reliable, responsive risk coverage.

What we're looking for

• Experience in fraud detection, risk operations, AML, or a compliance-adjacent role — ideally within gaming, fintech, or financial services.
• Solid understanding of KYC and EDD processes, including document verification and regulatory expectations around high-risk customers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review large volumes of transactional data and identify meaningful patterns or anomalies.
• Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to case management and record-keeping.
• Clear, confident communicator who can present investigation findings to colleagues across different functions.
• Comfortable working to productivity targets in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.
• Familiarity with social casino, iGaming, or payments platforms is a plus.
