About You:

You love turning messy data into numbers people can trust, and you're energized by the idea that your reports are what leaders use to make decisions every week. You're strong in SQL, at home in a CRM, and you already use AI tools to prototype and analyze faster.

You'll report to the Director, Revenue Operations, and work closely with program leaders, the executive team, and your teammates. To start, you'll help keep our standing reports accurate and on time while closing the data-quality gaps that make reporting harder. As you learn our data model, you'll take on more of the recurring reporting work, with the goal of owning specific reports yourself. This role suits someone who wants to grow, because it's built to expand as you do. Our data footprint keeps getting bigger with new products, acquisitions, and leadership reporting, so there will be no shortage of interesting problems.

What You'll Do:

Keep the business running on trusted reporting

  • Help run our weekly RevOps KPI dashboards and performance reporting, taking ownership of more of it over time. This covers the go-to-market funnel (marketing, free trial, pipeline, forecast), payments and financial performance, product adoption (including newer add-on products), churn and retention, and customer success/onboarding.

  • Support the reporting Finance and Accounting rely on, including revenue-share reporting for partner and referral agreements, reconciliation support, and reporting on our embedded financing products.

  • Answer ad hoc requests from the executive team, program leaders, and other stakeholders.

Make our CRM data clean, complete, and automatic

  • Support recurring pipeline and field hygiene audits by standardizing and consolidating fields and helping close known data-quality gaps, including in newer pipelines and product lines.

  • Partner with the Product Analyst to bring product usage and adoption data into the CRM, so Customer Success, Sales, and program leaders can see feature adoption, setup, and usage volume.

  • Automate manual, spreadsheet-driven processes so CRM data populates on its own instead of through manual uploads.

Build what's next

  • Prototype new reporting with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Replit, OpenAI), then work with the Director, Revenue Operations to get it approved and built into our production BI tool.

  • Help stand up reporting for go-to-market, finance, and operations areas as they come online.

Support acquisitions and grow into the data layer

  • Support data matching, migration, and reconciliation for acquisitions, including keeping a clear view of how an acquired business performed on its own versus how it looks inside company-wide numbers.

  • Learn our customer and revenue data model, including how customer identity is resolved across systems, and take on more ownership of it over time with the Director's guidance.

What You Bring:

  • Prior work in revenue operations, business intelligence, or data analytics, ideally with a background in vertical SaaS (experience in the service industry and payment solutions is preferred).

  • Proven expertise in SQL, plus experience querying a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) and working with modern data transformation workflows (e.g., dbt).

  • Proven experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce), including data structures, field mapping, and data-quality workflows.

  • Outstanding ability to support a recurring production reporting process (export, build, QA, publish) where real stakeholders, including executives, see the results.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with both clean, well-defined data sources and raw, messy data.

  • Proficiency in a BI or reporting tool (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and a proven track record of building cross-functional relationships.

  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Replit, or OpenAI for prototyping and analysis.

  • Bonus points: familiarity with GTM reporting, or exposure to finance or accounting reconciliation work.

Skimmer (operating under getskimmer.com, legally Skimmer, Inc.) is the leading enterprise-grade vertical field service management (FSM) software platform and operational engine engineered to modernize, digitize, and scale the residential and commercial swimming pool and spa service industry. Founded in 2014 by veteran developer Ron Hash, the corporation dismantled historical pool route friction—where service providers relied heavily on error-prone paper logging, unoptimized driving sequences, unbilled chemical expenses, and manual customer updates—by launching a cloud-native, offline-capable mobile and web ecosystem. Moving far beyond basic scheduling spreadsheets, Skimmer's comprehensive operational cockpit natively unifies dynamic drag-and-drop dispatching, automated intelligent route optimization, real-time technician GPS tracking, recurring work order management, customizable service checklists, and Orenda-powered LSI (Langelier Saturation Index) water chemistry calculators. To accelerate cash flow mechanics for pool operators, the platform integrates a robust financial infrastructure that automates bulk invoice generation derived from completed field data, supports recurring AutoPay setups, enables credit card surcharging to offset processing friction, and features seamless real-time syncing loops to QuickBooks Online. Driven by explosive cross-product adoption and exceptional user retention, the hyper-growth vertical SaaS provider secured a historic $74 million growth equity financing round in October 2024 spearheaded by marquee software investor Mainsail Partners, lifting its total institutional backing to over $84 million. Under the executive leadership of CEO Jack Nelson, the enterprise captured major industry accolades by ranking among the top 1,000 fastest-growing private entities on the 2025 Inc. 5000 and the 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 500. Powering operations for over 30,000 pool service professionals across more than 900,000 pools in North America, the company continues to expand its addressable footprint via robust developer APIs and strategic distribution alliances with market leaders like Heritage Pool Supply Group. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Skimmer stands as the definitive technological standard for modern field service operations—replacing outdated operational chaos with real-time data streaming, leakproof inventory tracking, and predictable business enablement.
