General Description:
GuidePoint Security is seeking a strong sales leader to lead and support a professional sales team in the Northwest (Bay Area) region. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, adaptable problem solver who can effectively manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships and credibility with customers, vendors, and internal teams. This individual will be responsible for providing sales leadership, developing customer and vendor relationships, supporting business growth, and helping the team achieve regional objectives.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to navigate a dynamic and fast-paced environment. GuidePoint Security offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the information security industry while contributing to the continued growth and success of the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy and annual sales plan aligned with GuidePoint’s organizational objectives.
- Support the regional sales team by leading and participating in client and prospect meetings and engaging corporate resources as needed.
- Collaborate on sales opportunities, pipelines, forecasts, and business efficiencies.
- Coach, mentor, and develop the sales team to drive high performance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and the executive team to develop strategies to meet the organization’s goals.
- Ensure communications and collateral are coordinated and represent the GuidePoint Security brand.
- Direct implementation of sales policies and practices.
- Build revenue-generating relationships with all key partners at the local and national level.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years successfully leading teams focused on enterprise security software sales leveraging a consultative selling approach.
- Background and experience with Risk, Compliance, and Security offerings.
- Proven track record of building and leading results-driven sales teams.
- Excellent track record of inspiring, coaching, and developing a team to high performance.
- High level of integrity with strong work ethic and proactive thought leadership.
- Highly energetic, passionate about servicing the client, and driven to succeed.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial approach and thinking.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability to identify and resolve complex operational, regional, and executional problems, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to deliver and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Commitment to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, exercise sound judgment, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with both the client and internally at all levels.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on key priorities.
- Proven ability to continuously learn, develop professionally, and foster the same growth within team members.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work.
- Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
- Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
