Dutch
View Company ProfileDutch (operating at dutch.com) is a veterinary telehealth platform engineered for modern pet care. Founded in 2021 by Joe Spector and Carlos Moreno, and headquartered in Oakland, California, Dutch redefines access to veterinary expertise by eliminating barriers to care. Under the hood, the company combines AI-assisted diagnostics with live video consultations from licensed veterinarians, delivering personalized treatment plans directly to pet owners’ homes. This allows pet owners to bypass traditional veterinary wait times, receive prescriptions for medications (delivered via partnerships), and manage chronic conditions with ongoing support—all from a smartphone or laptop. Backed by $25 million in funding from investors including Forerunner Ventures, Bling Capital, Trust Ventures, and notable figures like Jimmy Fallon, Dutch positions itself as a scalable alternative to in-person vet visits, catering to the growing demand for convenience and transparency in pet healthcare.
