Business Partner, People Team - Sandbox VR

What You Will Be Doing:

Act as a tactical partner to business stakeholders as it relates to key initiatives and proactively mitigate legal and compliance risks, investigating and addressing employee relations concerns effectively.

Actively execute and make informed decisions within established policies, enhancing employee experience by creating solutions within existing frameworks.

Participate in organizational design conversations to streamline and implement new department structures, roles, and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands (role re-purposing, restructures, joint venture integrations, etc.).

Act as the subject matter expert for FMLA, CFRA, state protected and personal leaves, managing precise tracking, eligibility determinations, and return-to-work timelines.

Manage reasonable accommodation and leave requests, coordinating with stakeholders to implement effective return-to-work and transitional work plans.

Coach employees on company policies, employee communication, development, and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.

Develop close partnerships with functional teams to deliver integrated solutions to related needs.

Provide performance management guidance to management (counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).

Find innovative ways for leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and efficiency.

Leverage metrics and analytics to inform strategies, measure progress against organizational goals.

Execute and identify change management strategies to support critical evolution of the business and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time.

Partner with People colleagues to identify key talent segments and pivotal roles.

Use employee lifecycle data to help the business make informed decisions about talent management strategies.

Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership, analyze trends, and recommend actionable solutions based on findings.

In partnership with the People Team's centers of expertise, lead and design specialized training programs where your expertise adds significant value.

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures as needed.
