Our Mission:
At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost.
Our Vision:
We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.
The Role:
This is a role for someone who wants to see their work in the real world. The robotic cells you clear for deployment will run in live manufacturing facilities across Europe - and the quality bar you set is what stands between a controlled build environment and a production floor where things need to work.
You'll join Sunrise Robotics at a stage where production is scaling but the processes around it are still being built. That means real ownership - of supplier quality, hardware acceptance, and the provisioning workflows that get a cell ready for a customer. You'll be the person engineering, supply chain, and deployment teams rely on to know whether a system is ready to ship.
It's a hands-on role. You'll spend meaningful time at manufacturing partner facilities, working directly with the people building our systems - inspecting hardware, resolving issues on the spot, and making the calls that keep delivery on track. If you'd rather be close to the product than behind a desk, this is that job.
What You'll Do:
Act as Sunrise's quality representative towards manufacturing partners - performing incoming inspections, verifying builds against drawings and specifications, and owning the quality sign-off before any system ships.
Manage supplier quality issues end to end: raise claims, investigate root causes, track corrective actions, and monitor trends over time.
Develop and maintain hardware acceptance procedures, checklists, and quality standards as production scales.
Execute provisioning and system configuration workflows for robotic cells, ensuring hardware, software, and deployment packages are fully prepared and traceable.
Coordinate readiness activities across supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing partners ahead of customer delivery.
Maintain quality records, BOM accuracy, and operational data in Odoo.
Contribute to process improvement across supplier development, delivery readiness, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Proven experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, hardware testing, systems integration, industrial automation, or machine building.
Confidence reading and working from technical drawings, electrical schematics, BOMs, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues alongside engineering teams.
Structured and organised, with strong written and spoken English.
Comfortable travelling regularly to manufacturing partner sites.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience working with contract manufacturers or manufacturing partners.
Background in robotic systems, industrial automation, or machine building.
Familiarity with provisioning, configuration, or deployment preparation workflows.
Experience managing supplier claims, non-conformities, or corrective action processes.
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Odoo.
Understanding of electrical systems, sensors, cameras, PLCs, or industrial communication protocols.
Why Us:
Sunrise Robotics is scaling its production and deployment operations across Europe, and this role sits at the centre of that.
Real ownership: You'll hold the quality bar for every system that leaves for a customer site - from incoming inspection through to final sign-off.
Build as you go: The processes, checklists, and standards you put in place will directly shape how Sunrise scales its delivery operations.
Cross-functional work: You'll work across supply chain, engineering, and deployment - with direct visibility into every part of how a robotic system gets from design to production floor.
The problem is real: Our systems run in live manufacturing environments. The quality and readiness work you do here has immediate, measurable consequences.

Sunrise Robotics
View Company ProfileSunrise Robotics (operating under sunriserobotics.co, legally Sunrise Robotics Corporation) is the premier, enterprise-grade AI-native industrial automation platform, digital twin robotics pioneer, and intelligent hardware orchestration powerhouse engineered to act as the definitive, high-velocity simulation-to-reality, autonomous dual-arm manipulation, and adaptive manufacturing layer for small-to-mid-sized manufacturers (SMEs), automotive builders, and electronics assembly networks globally. Co-founded in 2023 by elite technology and product innovators Tomaž Štolfa (CEO), Marko Thaler (CTO), and Joe Perrott (CCO)—utilizing engineering expertise honed at companies like Waymo, Google, Unity, and Red Bull—the startup completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of traditional industrial automation. It targets the critical bottleneck where manufacturers battle extreme labor shortages, rigid localized programming loops, and high initial setup costs, by deploying its proprietary simulation-trained robotic cells. Moving far beyond passive, single-task robotic arms or high-friction manual workstations, Sunrise natively unifies real-time multimodal spatial perception, human-like two-arm coordination, digital twin-driven virtual workstation training, and dynamic AI-powered process adjustments into a single plug-and-play workspace that can be deployed in hours rather than months. Its intelligent, self-learning fleet is trusted by high-tech partners across electronics, battery storage, and supercar manufacturing. Validating its rapid commercial trajectory and deeptech efficacy, the high-growth enterprise emerged from stealth with an $8.5 million Seed funding round co-led by Plural and Seedcamp, with strategic participation from Tapestry VC, Prototype Capital, and Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company. Under the hood, its technology core utilizes advanced deep reinforcement learning models trained in virtual physics simulations, secure ISO 10218 / TS 15066 safety configurations, dynamic radar monitoring systems, and highly scalable cloud-data pipelines designed to orchestrate and update distributed robot fleets with absolute performance correctness and sub-second reaction times. What sets Sunrise Robotics apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing fragile, single-use automation setups with an ever-learning, universally adaptive robotic fleet; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive simulation models and immediate physical factory floor execution, the company remains a definitive cornerstone of modern algorithmic robotics and global industrial manufacturing transformation.
