Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of testing framework, test processes, and approaches.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Maintain test artifacts, including test data and verification.
- Execute and evaluate functional, integration, performance, and regression test cases to ensure compliance with requirements, specifications, and standards. Report test results.
- Identify defects, report them, and track them to closure.
- Experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of test suites with a focus on continuous testing and DevOps processes.
- Analyze requirements and technical design documents for use cases/user stories, create test cases, and perform impact analysis.
- Prepare reports and present testing activities to customers and senior management.
- Analyze and resolve problems by coordinating with the scrum team.
- Identify, document, and track defects effectively.
Required Experience:
- Strong understanding of software development, testing principles, methodologies, and skills in various testing techniques and tools.
- Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, Protractor, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, PactumJS, and Playwright.
- Participate in developing test plans and strategies for effective application testing.
- Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk and impact.
- Align testing activities with project timelines and deliverables.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects.
- Document and report defects, collaborate with development teams to resolve and retest.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests using tools like Jenkins.
- Collaborate with developers to establish and maintain robust unit and integration testing strategies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and strong debugging skills.
- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure application workflows meet business and technical requirements.
- Work with Development and DevOps to integrate test automation with DevOps pipelines.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidates must have lived in the United States for 3 out of the past 5 years.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in federal projects (preferably CMS).
- Familiarity with databases and SQL for testing applications involving data storage and retrieval.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any IT-related field.
- 5 years of experience with establishing comprehensive test practices and methodologies.
