Hello, I’m Bia, a Recruiter at CI&T, and I’m looking for a QA Engineer to work with one of Brazil’s largest benefit companies.

Core Responsibilities:

This role involves proactively and strategically ensuring the quality of deliveries, contributing from reviewing requirements to validating solutions, identifying flaws, and continuously improving quality processes.

Beyond executing tests, we seek someone who promotes a Culture of Quality, helping the team anticipate problems, improve processes, and ensure more reliable deliveries.

Required Skills:

• Automation Testing (Obligatory): Solid experience of +4 years in Java and Selenium for creating, maintaining, and evolving automation suites, along with complementary market tools.

• Types and Levels of Testing: Experience with functional, non-functional, API, integration, end-to-end (E2E), and regression testing, validating business rules and service integrations.

• Troubleshooting and Defect Management: Root cause analysis of logs, tracking issues from registration to validation of fixes.

• DevOps and Version Control: Experience with Git for code versioning and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Agility and Productivity: Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and use of AI tools to optimize test analysis, coverage, and efficiency.

Expected Attributes:

• Critical and Business Vision: Analysis of the development cycle, review of requirements, and mapping of risks and omitted scenarios before sending to production.

• Strategic Thinking: Development of comprehensive testing strategies, considering the user journey and the evolution of automation to ensure reliable deliveries.

• Problem-Solving and Proactivity: Investigation and tracking of issues until resolution, with proactive action on bottlenecks and process/tool improvements.

• Collaboration and Communication: Working with the development team in technical discussions to prevent errors, maintaining clear documentation and reports.

• Promotion of Quality Culture: Dissemination of QA best practices and fostering shared responsibility for quality across the team.
