Project Management Contractor

Core Responsibilities

The Contract Project Manager will independently manage assigned website builds and ongoing support engagements, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and client expectations. Key tasks include:

• Planning and managing website projects in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Balancing stakeholder expectations regarding project timeline, cost, and scope.
• Building and managing project plans to deliver expected results.
• Coordinating project activities and communications to achieve outcomes.
• Facilitating adherence to the SOW, including proactive management of change orders.
• Creating change order estimates and drafting comprehensible documents for clients.
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues, decisions, and changes.
• Collaborating across teams with flexibility and a results-driven attitude.
• Monitoring and communicating project status, adjusting resources and priorities, and ensuring teams have necessary tools and support.

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience (agency experience preferred).
• Proven track record in delivering website projects with expertise in project management processes, methodologies, and practices.
• Deep familiarity with the website development process, with WordPress knowledge being ideal.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and achieving high client satisfaction.
• Experience defining and managing project workflows.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, design tools (Figma ideal), and project management tools (ClickUp ideal).
• Comfortable with client-facing interactions and independent client relationship management.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, risk management, and tactical execution skills.
• Problem-solving initiative.
• Nice to have: Experience operating in a hybrid role as both Account Manager and Project Manager.
