Product Sourcing Specialist

We're looking for a Product Sourcing Specialist to take ownership of the sourcing side of new product development for a design-led kitchen brand scaling to 15 launches per year. You'll be responsible for turning product briefs into launched products, managing the entire sourcing process from identifying suppliers to ensuring products are checked into FBA in the US.

The founder, based in Bangkok, leads a design-forward brand focused on product development and validation. The goal is to accelerate product launches, with a focus on overcoming sourcing bottlenecks such as supplier negotiations, signing NNNs, hitting cost sheet targets, and ensuring sample quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking product specs, mockups, and design briefs from the founder and sourcing suitable suppliers
• Identifying and approaching 5-6 potential suppliers per product, negotiating pricing, MOQs, lead times, samples, and production
• Managing supplier conversations on design and component options while coordinating with the founder on decisions
• Validating product viability using the company’s unit economics framework (HTS codes, cost sheets, ocean freight, etc.)
• Driving products through to launch, ensuring they are checked into FBA in the US

You’ll need at least 3-4 hours of overlap with Bangkok (ICT) afternoons, roughly 1 PM to 5 PM Bangkok time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Sourcing background with an understanding of MOQs, supplier negotiation, lead times, production, and ocean freight
• A baseline understanding of unit economics (cost sheets, HTS codes, etc.)
• Experience sourcing from China (main focus); some experience with Vietnam is a plus but not required
• Experience with exporting shelf-stable food and compliance requirements

Brownie points for:

• A keen eye for design and attention to detail, given the work is based off product mockups and images

The ideal candidate has a hungry, driven, hustler mindset—someone who takes pride in ownership and accountability. Direct communication is valued, and emotionally avoidant candidates are a turn-off. You should be able to think alongside the founder, not just execute.
