Want to know if you're a match for this job?
Miris is hiring a Product Communications Lead to own how our product and technical work reaches the outside world - blog posts, feature announcements, release notes, developer documentation, and customer-facing communications across our entire product surface.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute communications strategy for product launches, feature releases, and roadmap milestones, in partnership with engineering and marketing.
- Translate Miris's spatial streaming technology into clear, compelling narratives for developers and audiences across retail visualization, architecture, media & entertainment, and robotics/physical AI.
- Write and maintain developer-facing documentation - API references, SDK guides, quick-starts, sample code, and release notes so developers can evaluate, integrate, and build with Miris confidently.
- Write and own briefing documents, FAQs, blog posts, key messages, and talking points for every major announcement.
- Prepare executives and spokespeople for interviews, briefings, and speaking opportunities, including message development and Q&A prep.
- Identify and proactively pitch stories - product milestones, technical breakthroughs, partner and customer wins - that build Miris's reputation as a category leader.
- Partner closely with our internal marketing team to align on deliverables, timelines, and quality across communications initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years in product communications, technical communications/writing, or a closely related field, with direct experience translating highly technical work into external-facing content.
- Demonstrated technical-interview skill - comfortable extracting accurate, nuanced detail from engineers and product people who don't naturally think in "external comms" terms.
- Strong editorial judgment - a track record as an editor/shaper of others' technical material, not only as a solo author.
- Working fluency with LLM tools for content production, plus the judgment to verify claims and catch confidently wrong output before publication.
- Experience with developer-facing content (API/SDK documentation, developer guides).
- Background in spatial computing, 3D graphics/CG, robotics, or adjacent technical domains.
- Capable of working independently, setting your own priorities and cadence.
