Principal Investigator (Part-Time, Remote)

How This Role Makes a Difference

Care Access is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Investigator for a part-time role. This position involves overseeing all clinical trials in compliance with study protocols, company processes, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Provide overall medical oversight and review of protocols, including:
• Reviewing sponsor-provided safety reports;
• Maintaining accurate case report forms.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all study participants by:
• Assessing subject responses to therapy and addressing adverse experiences;
• Perform physical assessments, examinations, and study procedures as required by protocols.
• Train Sub-Investigators and study staff on protocols and procedures, providing medical support for protocol-related issues.
• Review inclusion/exclusion criteria, endpoint criteria, and investigational product use with the internal research team.
• Complete required Care Access and protocol-specific training.
• Comply with ICH GCP and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in monitoring visits, sponsor meetings, and allow audits by sponsors and regulatory agencies.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience

• Minimum Education: MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license (valid in the state where research is conducted).
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, with GCP training and certification required.

• Location: Remote within the United States (100% remote).
• Travel: Less than 10% travel required; occasional planned travel may occur.
• Physical Demands: Ability to use keyboards and computer equipment.
