How This Role Makes a Difference
Care Access is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Investigator for a part-time role. This position involves overseeing all clinical trials in compliance with study protocols, company processes, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Provide overall medical oversight and review of protocols, including:
- Reviewing sponsor-provided safety reports;
- Maintaining accurate case report forms.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all study participants by:
- Assessing subject responses to therapy and addressing adverse experiences;
- Perform physical assessments, examinations, and study procedures as required by protocols.
- Train Sub-Investigators and study staff on protocols and procedures, providing medical support for protocol-related issues.
- Review inclusion/exclusion criteria, endpoint criteria, and investigational product use with the internal research team.
- Complete required Care Access and protocol-specific training.
- Comply with ICH GCP and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in monitoring visits, sponsor meetings, and allow audits by sponsors and regulatory agencies.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience
- Minimum Education: MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license (valid in the state where research is conducted).
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, with GCP training and certification required.
How We Work Together
- Location: Remote within the United States (100% remote).
- Travel: Less than 10% travel required; occasional planned travel may occur.
- Physical Demands: Ability to use keyboards and computer equipment.
