The Role
As a Portfolio Operations Manager (Spanish), you'll manage a portfolio of destinations, ensuring each operates efficiently and meets performance targets. You'll use data-driven monitoring, standardized processes, and exception-based management to keep markets healthy at scale.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing complexity, loves working with data, and wants to have impact across multiple markets simultaneously. You'll develop expertise in marketplace operations while building toward more senior leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Manage a destination portfolio - Oversee markets, ensuring each has correct configurations and meets GFS and Great Rides targets.
- Monitor performance at scale - Use dashboards and alerts to track key metrics, intervening only when thresholds are breached.
- Capture market intelligence - Collect insights on pricing, competition, and local conditions across your portfolio. Feed structured data to central teams.
- Engage driver communities - Maintain presence in driver communities across markets, capturing feedback and identifying ambassadors.
- Deploy standardized initiatives - Run incentive programs and engagement campaigns at scale using proven playbooks.
- Ensure quality and compliance - Monitor adherence to quality guidelines across markets and flag issues centrally.
- Drive automation - Work with BI and Product to automate monitoring and reporting, enabling greater scale with less manual effort.
- Escalate strategically - Identify patterns and trends across your portfolio, escalating issues that need central support.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, logistics, mobility, or marketplace management
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with dashboards, data, and exception-based monitoring
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, keeping markets running smoothly simultaneously
- Process mindset - you enjoy systematizing and standardizing workflows
- Good communication skills, coordinating several teams and markets
- Comfort with ambiguity, being able to make decisions with incomplete information when needed
- Fluency in both English & Spanish is required; additional languages a plus
