The Platform Frontend team at Cresta is focused on building and maintaining a robust platform that supports all frontend development. This team oversees key areas like architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes. They ensure performance, security, and best practices are upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
- Collaborate with Cresta product and engineering teams to build and continuously improve the Cresta platform and new product requirements.
- Stay closely aligned with customers and their requirements, analyze technical trade-offs, and own customer-facing deliverables.
- Develop high-quality, well-designed, reusable, and well-tested system components, contributing to overall system designs.
- Identify and generate product improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work, upholding high standards for the team.
- Take technical ownership of a substantial part of the Cresta product and platform.
- Contribute to building a best-in-class company alongside a best-in-class product.
- Expand Cresta’s services beyond web and desktop applications to include native and hybrid mobile applications.
- Build headful and headless mobile SDKs for Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift) to power AI agent mobile integrations.
What We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- 8+ years of experience in relevant domains.
- Very solid coding skills.
- At least 2 years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift for iOS) in large-scale consumer-facing products.
- Experience with mobile frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Ionic is a plus.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
- Experience as a technical lead of a frontend stack supporting various product features.
