Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and development of opportunities to grow the impact of the Foundation’s products in Kenya.
  • Manage partnerships with assigned partners, ensuring effective delivery and building partner capacity for high-quality learning experiences for young people and educators.
  • Support the delivery of new programs in the region, including end-to-end grant management when applicable.
  • Collaborate with the Foundation’s Impact team to improve and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E), using results to drive partnership and programmatic improvements.
  • Report on progress across the partnership and program lifecycle, identifying opportunities, challenges, risks, and making renewal recommendations.
  • Build the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s network in Kenya, representing the Foundation at local and international events.
  • Enhance visibility of impact by contributing content for newsletters, social media, and digital channels.
  • Line manage members of the Kenya team as needed.

Experience and Personal Attributes

  • 5+ years of commercial skills and a proven track record in partnership and business development, including identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and building productive partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kenya’s education systems, including adoption processes for schools and non-formal learning settings.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale education partnerships.
  • Ability to engage and manage external stakeholders with a strong network of relevant contacts.
  • Experience with grant management processes.
  • Experience with online learning experiences and understanding of how technology transforms education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong data and analytical skills to improve programs using data.
  • Willingness to travel within Kenya (including overnight stays) and potential travel to South Africa and the UK.
