- Assisting with project setup, including workflows, documentation, trackers, guidelines, and communication channels
- Guiding and supporting our remote Data Annotator community on project tasks
- Responding to annotator questions and clarifying project instructions
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays, risks, or quality issues
- Performing quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency
- Coordinating work involving Mandarin and Cantonese language data
- Working with regional variations of Mandarin used in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Mainland China
- Supporting work involving Cantonese used in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore
- Communicating regularly with internal team members to ensure everyone remains aligned
- Supporting client communication, project updates, and the clarification of client requirements
- Managing project administration and operational tasks accurately and on time
- Taking initiative to resolve issues and improve project workflows
- Demonstrating ownership over assigned responsibilities and deliverables
- Remaining composed and solution-oriented when handling difficult or unfamiliar challenges
Requirements
We welcome students, fresh graduates, interns, and early-career professionals who are interested in project management, operations, AI, and people coordination.
You should have:
- Proficiency in Mandarin, including the ability to read, write, and converse confidently
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; and a willingness to communicate frequently, raise concerns early, and keep others updated
- Comfort working with and learning regional varieties of Mandarin
- An openness to learning Cantonese and understanding how language usage differs across countries and communities
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- The ability to structure work, plan ahead, and follow through on commitments
- The ability to coordinate multiple people in a remote working environment
- A high level of ownership, initiative, and personal accountability
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work well with people from different backgrounds
- The confidence to take on difficult, unfamiliar, or ambiguous challenges
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- A willingness to engage professionally with clients and external stakeholders
- A proactive, self-driven attitude and a strong desire to learn
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive

Bonus if you have
- Experience coordinating teams, events, or projects
- Experience in operations, community management, or project support
- Proficiency in additional languages, and familiarity with Mandarin or Cantonese language differences across countries
- Experience communicating with clients or external stakeholders
- Experience reviewing, translating, transcribing, or working with language-based data
- An interest in AI, data annotation, technology, or automation
