Position Overview

Shifting completely away from passive video logging or rigid, mechanical editing routines, you will operate as a hybrid studio technical director and creative post-production craftsman. This part-time role requires a self-starting editor with 1–3 years of experience in content production who operates OBS Studio fluidly during live broadcasts, cuts highly engaging short-form vertical assets from long-form market commentary smoothly, and balances a steady schedule of 20 hours per week aligned with London business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Impact Post-Production Editing: Splice, trim, and polish long-form livestreams, interactive webinars, partner interviews, and educational trading footage into high-retention clips natively utilizing Video Editor timelines.
• Social Platform Optimization: Format, brand, and render vertical media assets optimized for algorithmic traction across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and LinkedIn natively leveraging Short Form (Reels/TikTok) best practices.
• Ecosystem Live Broadcast Production: Command and support live financial broadcasts, managing scene configurations, graphics overlays, digital transitions, audio capture nodes, and streaming canvas layouts inside OBS Studio.
• Compelling Moment Harvesting: Analyze real-time market commentary and trading interviews independently to isolate highly compelling insights, educational tips, and viral hooks worth repurposing.
• Visual Engagement Enhancement: Embed clear captions, dynamic subtitles, motion transitions, lower-thirds, and strict Tradeify Futures branding guidelines to optimize target audience retention metrics.
• Pre-Live Asset Preparation: Assemble, organize, and test production graphics, thumbnail structures, and visual assets before broadcast events go live to eliminate technical defects.
• Media Library and Project Hygiene: Archive, catalog, and systematically maintain multi-gigabyte project directories, raw streaming captures, and asset libraries across secure cloud servers.
• Cross-Functional Content Collaboration: Partner daily alongside internal financial analysts, expert futures traders, program hosts, and marketing leads to execute content calendars and update publishing workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of verified professional history running digital video editing, live stream production, social media content generation, multimedia studio coordination, or creative agency consulting.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of short-form visual storytelling laws, pacing mechanics, screen aspect ratios, audio compression, and retention-driving graphic structures.
• Expert-tier timeline engineering skills, displaying deep proficiency cutting and sound-mixing video layouts natively utilizing Video Editor systems (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
