About this position:
We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to own end to end management of paid social campaigns for Later Influence customers. This role sits within Later's Professional Services team, reporting directly to our Head of Paid Media. We're looking for someone with direct agency experience and a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Program Management, Account Management, and Services leadership. Please note we will only be considering applications from candidates located within our Boston hub. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
What you'll be doing:
Campaign Management & Coaching
- Manage paid social influencer campaigns, including planning, setup, quality assurance, testing, measurement/reporting, and optimization across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, Snapchat Ads, and other social platforms.
- Support the training of new team members in paid social strategy, creation, implementation, and reporting.
- Manage budgets and campaigns as a paid social subject matter expert, partnering cross-departmentally to support team goals.
- Partner closely with Program Managers and Program Coordinators, providing guidance on ad messaging, creative assets, CTAs, and optimization efforts.
Strategy & Planning
- Provide creative and strategic direction on specific initiatives, identifying key messages and creative components that help clients reach their goals.
- Translate strategic recommendations for digital experiences into actionable plans.
- Partner with Account Managers and Services account leads to align strategies across campaign initiatives and support the team's growth in paid social expertise.
New Business & Innovation
- Support new business efforts and sales pitches for existing licenses and net new proposals.
- Forecast performance and spend to inform future budget recommendations.
- Stay current on advertising, marketing, data, targeting, AI, and automation trends that improve operations and cost efficiency.
- Manage relationships with key cross-functional partners and external vendors to ensure campaigns are executed on time and on budget.
Data & Measurement
- Monitor and continuously analyze channel performance.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Build and present regular reports on paid social campaign performance, with recommendations for continued improvement.
Experimentation & Optimization
- Lead a consistent experimentation and optimization process to improve results.
- Plan and execute new approaches in service of driving stronger performance.
What success looks like:
- Within your first 30 days, you've onboarded to Later's paid social platforms, tools, and Influence customer roster, and are managing your first campaigns with support from the team.
- By 90 days, you're independently managing a book of paid social campaigns end to end, from setup through optimization and reporting.
- By 180 days, you've contributed to at least one new business pitch or proposal and are a go-to resource for Program Managers and Coordinators on paid social execution.
- Within 12 months, you've helped train new team members, built a track record of measurable campaign performance gains, and are trusted by Account Managers and Services leads as a paid social subject matter expert.

- 4-5 years of digital paid social media experience, with a track record of driving results on influencer campaigns; agency experience is a plus.
- Direct experience across advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, Snapchat Ads, and other social platforms.
- Strong analytical, data-driven mindset, with experience turning metrics into optimization opportunities.
- Experience supporting or training other team members on campaign execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, customer, analytics, and product teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
- Ability to travel up to 2x per quarter.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications (Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, Google Analytics) are a plus.
