Nurse Practitioner - Digital-First Primary Care (Virtual)

About The Role

Galileo is seeking culturally sensitive clinicians to join their digital-first, primary care medical group. In this role, you will use asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and evidence-based primary care. As part of a collaborative clinical care team, you will optimize patient outcomes through data, technology, and operational rigor while delivering highly personalized care and shared decision-making.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Provide best-in-class care for Galileo patients managing complex and chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity, mental health) via their innovative, proprietary app and technology, guided by your clinical judgment.
• Offer compassionate and empathetic care to patients aged 0-100, addressing all medical needs, including chronic conditions.
• Engage with a diverse patient population in an inclusive, culturally sensitive environment.
• Solve patient problems efficiently through resourcefulness, collaboration, and a “can-do” approach.

How We Work

Galileo operates as a 24/7 medical group, utilizing asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video for primary care. Shifts are structured in 4-hour increments (mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight on weekdays and weekends). At 24+ hours/week, you’ll be considered full-time and benefits-eligible. Providers must work at least two 4-hour shifts per weekend alongside weekday hours.

Currently, Galileo is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for a minimum of 24 hours/week.

Compensation

$80/hour (regular rate) and $90/hour (premium rate).

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 5+ years of advanced clinical experience in complex care, chronic care management, or primary care.
• Experience with or interest in digital-first healthcare (e.g., virtual medicine).
• Interest in innovative care models balancing evidence-based approaches with creative ideas.
• High comfort using technology and applications for virtual care delivery. Current tech stack includes:
• A proprietary built clinician-patient platform.
• Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Slack.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active NP license in Massachusetts. Multi-licensed in other states is preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken medical Spanish is a plus.
