Summary
As National Sales Manager, Professional Development, you will serve as the organizationâs lead sales professional, personally selling ZERO TO THREEâs full suite of professional development products and services to prospective and established clients nationwide. Your role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing a robust opportunity pipeline, and using a collaborative, consultative approach to grow revenue and expand market share.
You will drive direct sales while also strengthening the teamâs sales infrastructure, including pipeline tracking, Salesforce practices, and process optimization. This position combines hands-on selling with systems and support to enable broader team success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the organizationâs lead sales professional, personally driving the sale of ZERO TO THREEâs professional development products and services to clients.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team and organizational revenue goals through prospecting, pitching, and closing.
- Craft and execute effective sales strategies using a consultative approach, building strong client relationships through outreach, presentations, and negotiations.
- Strategically manage a personal opportunity pipeline from prospect to close.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of ZERO TO THREEâs professional development products and services to communicate their value and assess the competitive landscape.
- Participate in exhibiting and presenting at events/conferences to generate and close new business.
- Engage in strategic travel to clients across the U.S. for direct sales activity.
- Track all sales flow information in Salesforce, maintaining accurate records of contacts, leads, opportunities, and transactions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute targeted cross-selling campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide guidance and support to other sales team members while maintaining primary accountability for personal sales performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes continuous learning and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the department.
