Member of Legal Staff, Commercial Counsel

micro1 is seeking a Member of Legal Staff, Commercial Counsel to join its core legal team. As the leading AI data lab for training frontier models and evaluating AI agents, micro1 partners with experts across diverse domains to deliver high-quality training data and feedback that advance AI capabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a commercially minded attorney to work at the intersection of technology, data, and law. The Commercial Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, with a focus on data licensing, technology transactions, and marketing contracts. The position also supports vendor and partnership agreements, statements of work, and NDAs, while collaborating closely with internal teams to translate legal risk into actionable business guidance.

Candidates should bring strong academic credentials, significant experience with sophisticated commercial and technology agreements, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, highly asynchronous environment. The role requires excellent legal judgment, adaptability, and a willingness to develop expertise in emerging areas as micro1’s business and legal needs evolve.
