Marketing Lead - India

The role

We are looking for individuals who are not only passionate about our mission but also comfortable and confident using cutting-edge technologies and AI tools, to streamline processes, drive innovation, and contribute to the growth of Vestd.

We're looking for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to scale Vestd's marketing function in India. You will have already led successful marketing campaigns, but still ambitious and excited to push further.

This role owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, drives brand awareness and demand generation, and works closely with sales, product, and leadership to accelerate growth.

The ideal candidate will combine creative thinking, strong commercial instinct with data-driven execution. You have a passion for building and executing high-impact marketing programmes in a fast-growing business.

What success looks like in year one

We’re looking for someone who is dynamic and can deliver a consistent pipeline of qualified leads, while successfully executing the wider India go-to-market strategy.

You will have excellent commercial judgement, be expected to improve brand awareness, website performance, and campaign ROI, build meaningful partnerships and community engagement, implement effective marketing automation and reporting. AI tooling should be part of your processes to accelerate production.

What you’ll own

• India go-to-market and brand - own the India GTM strategy in alignment with global marketing objectives, and lead the Vestd India brand transition across messaging, digital assets, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.
• Demand generation and digital marketing - own website strategy, SEO, content roadmap, and conversion optimisation, and plan and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, email, social, partner) that build a consistent, qualified pipeline.
• Product marketing - develop product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement assets, and lead go-to-market launch campaigns for Vestd's equity management platform.
• Marketing operations and reporting - own HubSpot workflows, lead lifecycle management, lead scoring, and campaign attribution, and report on pipeline, campaign effectiveness, and ROI to India and UK leadership.
• Partnerships, community, and budget - Drive Vestd India's market leadership by building high-impact partnerships with ecosystem players, industry bodies, investors, and strategic allies. Lead corporate communications, executive thought leadership, PR, analyst and media relations, speaking opportunities, and flagship community initiatives including CXO roundtables and webinars to establish Vestd as the category leader in equity management. Own the marketing budget, quarterly planning, and resource allocation, ensuring investments align with growth objectives and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
• Strategic Planning - Lead annual marketing planning, quarterly business reviews, budgeting, resource allocation, and investment prioritisation to maximise marketing ROI and support long-term business objectives.

What we’re looking for

Essential elements of this role

We cannot provide an exhaustive list of duties; additional duties may arise, but these will be core elements of this role.

• 12+ years of experience in leading the marketing function.
• Build marketing programmes that maximise visibility across AI search and generative discovery platforms.
• Proven track record across the full marketing mix - brand, qualified demand, content, paid media, and marketing operations - not just one specialism.
• Build a marketing engine that consistently drives awareness, engagement and qualified demand.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or equivalent marketing automation platform), Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, including budget management and performance reporting.
• Experience owning a marketing budget and reporting pipeline/ROI outcomes directly to senior leadership.
• Confident at optimising AI tools in day-to-day marketing work - for example content drafting, driving campaign awareness, or reporting automation.
• Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across UK and India teams and time zones.
• You thrive working in a remote-first, distributed environment.
