As a SavvyMoney Manager, Solution Configuration, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a large configuration team that handles high-volume, technically complex work for multiple partner implementations simultaneously.
Position Requirements
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a large configuration team that completes high-volume, technically complex work for multiple partner implementations at the same time
- Build and maintain a capacity model that shows how much work the team can complete in a given period
- Use the capacity model to forecast when the team is over-allocated, and raise it before due dates are missed
- Assign and balance work across the team based on skill level, task complexity, and partner priority
- Onboard new team members using a documented training plan with clear steps to independent work
- Set clear performance expectations, hold regular one-on-one meetings, and report team gaps and development needs to leadership
Schedule and Delivery Management
- Own configuration timelines and due dates for all active implementations, and keep them accurate when scope or sequence changes
- Identify delays, dependencies, and risks early, take action to reduce them, and escalate with a recommended solution
- Track and report metrics such as cycle time, throughput, rework, and on-time completion, and use them to improve results
- Work with Implementation Managers, Engineering, and Product to sequence work and remove blockers before they affect partner go-live dates
Process Excellence
- Define, document, and improve the configuration process, including intake, prioritization, peer review, validation, and handoff
- Confirm the team follows the documented process, and identify where process needs to be improved
- Standardize repeatable work using templates, checklists, and automation to reduce errors and manual effort
- Facilitate retrospectives, and turn the findings into documented process changes
- Build reports that are clear, accurate, and easy for leadership to read and act on
- Build trust with stakeholders across Implementations, Engineering, and Product by giving accurate status and completing what you commit to
- Act as the expert user of Jira and Confluence for the configuration team. This includes workflows, custom fields, automation rules, JQL, filters, and dashboards
- Define and enforce Jira ticketing standards so every configuration request can be tracked from intake through validation
- Build and maintain Confluence as the team's single source of truth, including process guides, configuration runbooks, standards, decision logs, and onboarding material
Qualifications
- BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in technical project management, delivery management, or technical operations, including 3+ years managing a team of 10 or more people
- Expert-level Jira and Confluence administration, including workflows, automation, JQL, dashboards, and space setup
- Experience leading a distributed team across multiple time zones
- Strong written and verbal English communication, including the ability to write a clear status report for senior leadership
- Willingness to work hours that overlap U.S. Eastern Time, and to complete hands-on work alongside the team when needed
Nice to Have
- Experience with Online Banking platforms, Loan Origination Systems, or consumer lending and deposit products
- Experience working with credit unions, banks, or fintech partners on implementation or onboarding
