Manager - Broker Account Monitoring

Core Responsibilities

The **Manager - Broker Account Monitoring** oversees the integration and optimization of broker account data feeds for **Star**, collaborating with customers, brokers, aggregators, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations. Key focus areas include:

• **Broker Data Feed Activation** and **Feed Data Quality** management
• **Account Activation/De-activation** processes
• **Data Ingestion Monitoring** and issue resolution across asset classes
• Transforming broker account monitoring into a **competitive differentiator** through cross-functional efforts

Product Focus

The role involves curating broker account integrations as a **product**, working with product managers to eliminate friction for customers in establishing feeds, managing feed health, and optimizing processes like account activation/de-activation. This extends to improving internal tools and reducing compliance team workload.

Customer Engagement

Work with **existing and new customers** to:

• Develop an optimal mix of **Direct Feeds**, **Aggregators**, and **SDE** for broker data
• Position and differentiate **Broker Management** during sales processes
• Expand direct broker relationships and aggregator account availability to meet evolving customer needs
• Collaborate with **Relationship Managers (RMs)** and **Sales Support Executives (SSEs)** to maintain performance and optimize customer mix over time
• Participate in sales processes and **customer QBRs** (Quarterly Business Reviews) to address optimization, opportunities, performance, issues, and requests

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Data Team:

• Collaborate on **feed optimization** and onboarding of new customers
• Monitor and develop the **broker and feed performance system** to ensure internal tools support the **Broker Management program** across all facets
• Owning and maintaining the **Broker Information section of Star Tools** to document contacts, procedures, and policies for each direct broker feed

Services:

• Document and update **broker feed setup requirements** (playbooks) for the **Product Support (PS) team** during customer implementation

Brokers:

• Proactively target and establish relationships to expand **direct broker relationships**
• Establish and maintain criteria for **Star Preferred Brokers**, monitor performance, and promote new members
• Collaborate with the **Data Team** on new feed setup
• Routinely connect with existing brokers to strengthen relationships, motivate performance, and ensure up-to-date documentation

Marketing:

• Ensure **Star Preferred Brokers** have opportunities to participate in **Star promotions, events, articles, and webinars** to increase access to the customer base

Aggregators:

• Routinely connect with and evaluate **current and potential aggregators** to bolster relationships, optimize terms, and ensure account availability

SDE Team:

• Perform routine audits to determine if **existing SDE accounts** can be optimized to **Aggregator or Direct Feeds** and manage the process of optimization and reporting to customers

Key Skills and Experience

The role requires:

• Experience within financial services, regtech, compliance, surveillance, or similarly regulated domains
• Strong commercial instincts — the ability to connect technical investments to **customer value and business outcomes
• Experience of SaaS sales and an understanding of **SaaS industry standards and sales approaches
• Familiarity with compliance-led buying cycles influenced by regulatory pressure, risk mitigation, and audit requirements
