View Company ProfileMyEdSpace (operating under myedspace.co.uk) is a fast-growing British edtech platform providing highly engaging, live online group tuition and structured educational resources for K-12 students. Founded in late 2021 by Sean Hirons and Kharis Yanakidis, the platform was engineered to democratize access to top-tier, affordable academic instruction by dismantling the geographic and financial barriers of traditional private tutoring. The platform blends an award-winning digital learning infrastructure with a curated team of elite, fully qualified British educators—handpicked from the top 1% of applicants—including former Heads of Departments and exam board examiners. MyEdSpace delivers curriculum-aligned, interactive courses covering English, Mathematics, and core Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) tailored across Key Stages from Year 5 through to GCSE and A-Level preparation. Rather than relying on passive video libraries, the platform emphasizes active community learning through live broadcasts, 24/7 personalized mentor networks, gamified homework assignments, and high-quality printed workbooks. In September 2025, the company secured a $15 million Series A funding round led by White Star Capital alongside notable participation from Heartcore Capital, HV Capital, and Picus Capital to aggressively expand its technological features and accelerate its international market entry into the United States. Headquartered in Covent Garden, London, MyEdSpace operates a rapidly expanding hybrid operational team consisting of software developers, curriculum designers, and student support specialist teams.
