As a Little Otter clinician, you’ll practice within our structured, evidence-based care model while being supported by the scale, technology, and mission of Hazel Health.
The Role
As a Little Otter Licensed Child & Family Therapist, you’ll provide virtual, evidence-based therapy to children and families using our clinician-developed, measurement-based care model. You’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver individualized treatment, and use standardized clinical measures to guide diagnosis, monitor progress, and inform treatment decisions.
This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy combining high-quality therapeutic care with data-informed practice and who are passionate about improving outcomes for children through whole-family mental health care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide evidence-based virtual therapy to children, adolescents, and families using a whole-family approach.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality clinical care.
- Utilize measurement-based care and standardized assessments to guide treatment planning and monitor progress.
- Partner with caregivers to build skills, support treatment goals, and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Assess and respond to safety concerns in accordance with clinical best practices and organizational protocols.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable licensing, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Passion for practicing within a structured, outcomes-focused, measurement-based care model centered on children and families.
- Master’s-level therapist independently licensed in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent).
- Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children and families.
- Demonstrated experience treating common pediatric mental health conditions using evidence-based approaches.
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
- Comfortable delivering care virtually and using technology in clinical practice.
- Interest in or experience with measurement-informed care and outcomes tracking.
