Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, systems-minded Listings Systems Specialist to join our core software engineering group in a full-time remote capacity. In this back-end, non-customer-facing technical seat, you will operate as the primary operational bridge between our engineering workflows and front-end listing practitioners. You will assume total accountability for ensuring every property inside our growing international portfolio is configured flawlessly across our internal databases, channel managers, property management systems (PMS), and automated pricing models. This role demands an independent data processor who finds intense satisfaction in structuralizing messy data fields into pristine, highly automated systems that run smoothly at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• System Setup & Configuration: Model and configure new property profiles, structural rules, transactional fees, regional taxes, and policy frameworks natively inside HostAway, Breezeway, PriceLabs, Charge Automation, and Authenticate.
• Channel Manager Architecture: Build, test, and maintain robust API channel connections distributing live listing data seamlessly across external platforms including Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, and Booking.com.
• Data Ingestion & Quality Audits: Run continuous system-wide database audits to isolate missing or conflicting property attributes, maintaining our centralized amenities infrastructure to eliminate platform discrepancies.
• Software Development Support: Collaborate directly alongside back-end developers on software testing, technical bug reporting, integration troubleshooting, and rolling out new internal tools.
• Data Migration Ownership: Execute secure, structural data migrations across internal databases and property management software suites during new partner onboarding loops.
• Front-End Operations Unblocking: Isolate and resolve technical integration issues, API sync errors, and third-party platform drops to provide back-end support for listing specialists.
• Technical Process Standardization: Map system changes, compile comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and document software evolution variables clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional history running back-end technical data entry, system administration, software configuration, or database management tasks.
• Familiarity navigating or managing structured data within Property Management Systems (PMS) or API channel manager platforms (such as HostAway, Guesty, Hospitable, or OwnerRez).
• Excellent technical data literacy, with sharp attention to detail and the capability to identify silent validation failures or sync drops between connected software.
• Highly reliable, self-directed execution capabilities optimized to work productively within a fully remote global environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English communication mechanics; all corporate documentation, training loops, and system engineering specs are managed exclusively in English.
• Location Context: Full-time remote parameters open to qualified technical specialists permanently based anywhere within Pakistan.
• Scheduling Commitments: Readiness to follow a Monday-to-Friday schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST), including mandatory attendance during virtual office blocks (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST), utilizing Trackabi for automated time logging.

• Prior experience operating inside the short-term rental (STR), property management, hospitality technology, or travel tech sectors.
• Basic conceptual understanding of data mapping, software integration mechanics, or automated regression tracking methods.
