Licensed Therapist (Eating Disorder Treatment) - Remote

The Licensed Therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary care team (including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship) and utilize evidence-based care modalities such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E). Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based treatment, maintaining quality documentation, and assessing patients’ and families’ needs.
Working Hours:
- Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in Therapist’s respective patient care time zone (3 pm for Mountain Standard Time Zone to accommodate Pacific Time Zone patients).
- Ability to commit to working until 8 pm two evenings per week (you choose which evenings).
- Attendance at mandatory meetings (Group Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs/All Hands, Individual Supervision, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic (telehealth) setting.
- Implement Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID.
- Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks.
- Participate in initial and ongoing trainings.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors.
- Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team.
- Engage in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
- Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain additional state licensure as requested by Equip.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must Haves:
- Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Oklahoma.
- Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
- Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
- Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week until 8 pm in the patient care time zone.
- Enthusiastic, strong team player.
- Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
- Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.
- Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings.
- Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma.
- Case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team.
