Lead of Growth Analytics

Main Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Strategy: Build, mentor, and direct a high-performing growth analytics team. Cultivate an environment that supports data-driven decision-making with a bias for action and clear accountability.

• App Funnel & Conversion Optimization: Own the analytics for onboarding flows and paywalls. Identify conversion bottlenecks and turn user behavior data into high-impact growth hypotheses.

• Pricing & Monetization Experiments: Design, execute, and analyze pricing experiments (tariffs, localized pricing, paywall variants, and upsell offers) to optimize conversion rates and average revenue per user (ARPU).

• Experimentation Framework & Tooling: Establish standardized experimentation methodologies across the company. Define sample sizes, guardrail metrics, and statistical boundaries (sequential testing, Bayesian vs. Frequentist approaches).

• AI & Workflow Automation: Implement AI tools and LLM-assisted workflows within the analytics process to accelerate exploratory data analysis, reporting, and automated anomaly detection.

• Executive Reporting & Insights: Synthesize complex experiment outcomes into actionable recommendations for C-suite, Product, and Marketing leaders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Leadership: Proven, successful managerial experience leading growth or product analytics teams in digital or mobile app environments.

• Funnel & Pricing Analytics: Deep hands-on experience with app funnel analysis, paywalls, onboarding optimization, and pricing mechanics for B2C subscription or freemium products.

• Experimentation Expertise: Strong mastery of A/B testing methodologies, statistical hypothesis testing, variance reduction (CUPED), and experimental design.

• Technical & SQL Proficiency: Strong hands-on SQL skills to query, model, and verify data independently; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.

• Data Stack & Tools: Experience working with modern product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Looker, Tableau) and experimentation tools.

• AI Literacy: Active user of AI/GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) to automate daily analytics tasks and streamline research workflows.

• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex statistical outcomes into clear commercial insights for cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Eppo Platform Experience: Direct experience with EPPO or similar modern feature-flagging and automated experimentation platforms.

• Ad Tech & Signal Knowledge: Familiarity with conversion APIs (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions), server-side tracking, and MMPs (AppsFlyer/Adjust).

• Incrementality & Causal Inference: Knowledge of geo-lift tests, holdout groups, and causal inference methods (Synthetic Controls, CausalImpact).

• Subscription Business Models: Experience in high-growth mobile subscription apps (Health & Fitness, Utility, EdTech).
