Koch Internship Program (KIP) - Intern at The Martin Center

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships, offering professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits addressing critical policy challenges across the United States.

Early-career professionals, including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates, are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates must be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.

The Martin Center’s mission is to renew and fulfill the promise of higher education in North Carolina and nationwide by educating citizens and policymakers while advocating policies rooted in classical liberal principles. Since 2003, the Martin Center has championed excellence and accountability in higher education, focusing on responsible governance, viewpoint diversity, academic quality, cost-effective solutions, and market-based reforms.

The Martin Center is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and this role supports remote or in-person work.

Job Summary:

The intern will assist in expanding the center’s impact by handling operations, donor outreach, social media promotion, and growing the newsletter subscriber base. Interns will also have the opportunity to write short articles for the center’s website. If working on-site, additional tasks may include organizing the office library.
