Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Java Web Developer to join our core global Engineering division in a full-time remote capacity within Latin America (open to qualified engineers in Colombia, Peru, or Argentina). In this high-impact engineering seat, you will claim individual technical accountability for building, optimizing, and maintaining dynamic enterprise web applications across both the presentation and application layers. Moving entirely away from slow or uninsulated scripting habits, you will collaborate tightly beside cross-functional designers, database managers, and back-end engineers to implement robust server-side workflows. This role demands a rising software crafter who possesses a solid understanding of the HTTP request-response lifecycle, thrives when writing well-tested components under Agile frameworks, and balances clean database query tuning with modern front-end web integrations seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Server-Side Web Logic Engineering: Develop, test, debug, and deliver high-performance server-side web logic and enterprise-grade components natively utilizing Java EE, Jakarta EE, or Spring MVC frameworks.
• Interactive Presentation Layer Architecture: Build, customize, and maintain polished, responsive web UIs using server-side templating engines like Thymeleaf or JSP, ensuring full integration with modern client-side scripting frameworks.
• Relational Database Modeling & Tuning: Design, optimize, and manage scalable relational database schemas and execute performant query strings natively across MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle environments using JDBC, JPA, or Hibernate.
• RESTful Web Services Implementation: Construct, secure, and deploy RESTful API endpoints, documenting service structures clearly for downstream front-end developers and external third-party consumer systems.
