Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, systems-minded Java Full Stack Developer to join our core global Engineering division in a full-time remote capacity within the APAC region (open exclusively to qualified engineers residing inside Sri Lanka, Malaysia, or Manila, Philippines). In this high-leverage software engineering seat, you will claim individual technical accountability for designing, developing, and maintaining both the client-side and server-side of our modern web applications. Moving entirely past siloed code execution, you will own features from end to end—from early database schema modeling and core REST/GraphQL API design down to the implementation of responsive front-end components. This role demands a proactive product engineer who commands a strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns, collaborates cross-functionally with UI/UX teams, and handles automated container deployments seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Java Microservices Engineering: Build, optimize, and maintain highly scalable backend services and microservices boundaries natively utilizing Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high availability and clean service separation.
• Interactive Interface Curation: Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end user interfaces natively leveraging modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js alongside semantic HTML5 and CSS3 stylesheets.
• Polyglot Database Management: Design, query, and optimize relational data architectures across PostgreSQL or MySQL registries, while deploying and configuring NoSQL data tiers like MongoDB where appropriate.
• Secure API Infrastructure Design: Create, document, and consume secure, robust RESTful and GraphQL API endpoints, ensuring easy integration pathways and low payload parsing times for downstream technical teams.
• Automated Test Driven Validation: Write extensive, resilient unit, integration, and end-to-end testing suites natively utilizing JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium to protect staging pipelines against software regressions.
• Containerized Cloud Deployment: Package, maintain, and monitor distributed applications inside cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) paths, Docker containers, and basic Kubernetes patterns.
• Rigorous Code Review Hygiene: Participate actively in peer code reviews, shape architecture decision records (ADRs), and collaborate closely with product management and DevOps squads to uphold high-yielding software engineering standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of verified professional history running advanced Java software development, full-stack systems engineering, object-oriented web design, or cloud application delivery.
• Deep practical experience configuring and scaling enterprise-grade web application components natively using **Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security** registries.
• Demonstrated front-end development proficiency coding modular layout interfaces natively inside at least one core framework like **React**, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Hands-on operational experience handling data persistence layers, utilizing both structured relational SQL systems and non-relational NoSQL data pools in production spaces.
• Familiarity with distributed version control workflows (Git) and container application isolation rules natively using **Docker**.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics in fluent English, with a proven history collaborating smoothly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across an asynchronous workspace framework.
• Location Context: Full-time operational parameters open exclusively to qualified full-stack software engineers based permanently anywhere within Sri Lanka, Malaysia, or Manila, Philippines to execute 100% remotely from home.

• Prior professional experience scaling cloud web applications or digital fintech engines for prominent global technology scale-ups or enterprise data networks.
• Practical exposure mapping custom GraphQL queries or handling secure JSON Web Token (JWT) user session states across distributed API environments.
• Basic conceptual understanding of container orchestration layers, including pod management, cluster architecture, or cloud microservices scheduling via Kubernetes.
