About This Role
As our new Integrations Engineer, you will be a vital part of our Client Experience organization, embedded directly within our Implementations team. You are stepping into this role to spearhead the delivery of custom, bespoke technical solutions that fall outside the scope of our core product development. Your critical goal is to ensure smooth client onboarding by creating sustainable, well-documented integrations that not only solve unique client challenges but also streamline downstream processes for our operations team post-go-live.
What You'll Do:
Design and build tailored solutions: You will serve as the technical expert during client onboarding, architecting, testing, and deploying custom data integrations that fulfill unique client requirements.
Scope and strategize: You will partner closely with the Implementations team to evaluate client data, define the technical scope, and establish accurate effort estimates and delivery timelines.
Ensure engineering excellence: You will write robust, scalable, and secure code that adheres to internal best practices and high-quality standards.
Empower the operations team: You will design integrations with a focus on operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless technical handover and creating clear processes for post-go-live maintenance and support.
Create scalable tools: You will identify common integration patterns and build reusable scripts, tools, and templates to increase the efficiency of the entire Client Experience team.
Own the documentation: You will create and maintain detailed technical documentation for every deployed solution, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks.
Provide expert support: You will act as the technical escalation point for integrations, quickly resolving complex production issues that require deep knowledge of your custom solutions.
Who You Are:
You have 5+ years of professional experience in a highly technical role, such as an Integrations Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant.
You possess expert-level proficiency in Python, alongside strong experience with Golang (or similar compiled languages) and a working knowledge of Java.
You are a database master, boasting mastery of SQL and a strong understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases.
You have extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing 3rd party API integrations.
You bring proven experience with cloud-based technologies, advanced scripting, and automation to solve complex business problems.
You are well-versed in designing, implementing, or administering Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.
You consistently apply a deep understanding of industry best practices regarding system architecture, data security, and API design.
You have a proven track record of successfully designing, building, and delivering complex technical enterprise solutions while aligning your technical strategy with broader business goals.
You thrive in ambiguous environments, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field (a BS in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline is strongly preferred) or have equivalent professional experience.
