Integration Lead for Workday ERP Implementation

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the client-facing Integration Lead for a Workday ERP implementation, supporting the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday.
• Lead the integration workstream, including discovery, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and project leadership on integration activities, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead and provide technical direction to integration developers while remaining hands-on in integration design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Facilitate client integration discovery and design sessions and translate business and technical requirements into scalable Workday integration solutions.
• Ensure integration deliverables meet established timelines, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Manage integration scope and client expectations throughout the implementation.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, functional leads, technical teams, third-party vendors, and the system integrator to successfully deliver shared objectives.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner and develop alternative technical or functional approaches when necessary.
• Review integration designs and deliverables to ensure consistency, quality, security, and alignment with established standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration methods, processes, and reusable solutions based on project experience.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of integration consulting or implementation experience, most recently as an Integration Lead or similar capacity.
• Demonstrated experience leading the integration workstream for a Workday implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
• Experience leading and providing technical direction to integration developers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and client expectations.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead discovery sessions, communicate technical concepts clearly, and build trust with project stakeholders.
• Demonstrated follow-through on assignments, deliverables, and issue resolution.
• Ability to produce high-quality deliverables requiring limited refinement or oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday integration certification.
• Experience supporting Workday HCM and Financials implementations.
• Experience with higher education ERP implementations.
• Experience supporting a PeopleSoft-to-Workday transformation.
