Purpose of the Role

Motortech AI is growing quickly, with increasingly complex customer implementations, large retail groups, OEM programmes, and international expansion driving demand for scalable delivery.

As an Implementation Consultant, you'll take ownership of customer implementations from contract signature through to go-live, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, on time, and to a high standard. You'll work closely with customers, technical teams, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, manage delivery plans, coordinate integrations, and overcome challenges throughout the implementation lifecycle.

This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role that combines project delivery, technical problem-solving, and stakeholder management. You'll be trusted to take ownership, drive progress, and keep implementations moving, even when faced with competing priorities or unforeseen issues.

In the early stages, you'll quickly get up to speed on existing projects and take the lead on delivery. Over time, you'll help shape and improve our implementation approach, creating repeatable processes and best practices that support Motortech AI's continued growth.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving complex problems, and making things happen in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring customers realise value from our platform and that every implementation is set up for long-term success.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage customer implementations from contract signature through to go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Review project requirements, agreed scope, technical dependencies, and customer objectives before delivery begins.
  • Create and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs), implementation plans, and project documentation.
  • Lead implementation kick-offs, project workshops, status meetings, and go-live readiness reviews.
  • Gather and validate business and technical requirements with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across customers, technical teams, and integration partners.
  • Manage system integrations, configuration activities, and technical delivery workstreams.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and blockers, escalating where required.
  • Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support customers through go-live and the initial post-launch phase to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Document implementation outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices to continually improve delivery processes.
  • Share customer feedback, product gaps, and enhancement opportunities with internal teams to help shape future product development.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years' experience in an Implementation Consultant, Professional Services, Technical Delivery, or similar customer-facing SaaS role.
  • Proven experience managing software implementations from requirements gathering through to go-live.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and experience working with platforms such as CRM, ERP, DMS, or other business systems.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
  • Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into clear actions and outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, remove blockers, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing project documentation, Statements of Work (SOWs), and implementation plans.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving successful delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Able to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments, particularly during critical delivery and go-live phases.
  • Experience within automotive technology, dealership software, or SaaS platforms would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to help build scalable delivery processes.
