About Kasa

Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.

Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences. Behind the scenes, we build technology that combines with our innovative operations to grow a globally scalable offering that delivers high-quality stays to guests. Our guests enjoy seamless check-ins, caring service, and attractive amenities—and if anything comes up, our on-site and remote guest experience team is available throughout their stay, ensuring our hospitality is rarely seen but always felt.

This is a remote contract role based in the Philippines. The position requires overnight hours, generally Tuesday through Saturday, to align with U.S. business hours.

Please note: this role is open to candidates based in the Philippines only. Candidates outside the Philippines will not be considered at this time.

The Role

Kasa is searching for a remote Guest Billing Specialist to join our Guest Experience team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Guest Communications. As a Guest Billing Specialist, you will help build Kasa’s global brand by ensuring reservation accuracy, resolving guest billing inquiries, and performing recurring audits to maximize guest satisfaction and financial reporting accuracy. You will have an opportunity to see firsthand how we take care of our guests and also have insights into the revenue side of the business.
Individuals with at least one year of administrative, audit, billing, or hospitality experience are encouraged to apply.

About the Team

This role is in our Guest Experience department, but will work very closely with departments across Kasa. We have team members located all over the US and the world. Our team is full of people with diverse backgrounds and we work hard to maintain a positive environment within the department. Everyone joined Kasa because they are passionate about travel and hospitality and they stay because of our great culture.

Day in the Life of a Kasa Guest Billing Specialist

As a Guest Billing Specialist, your typical day will include performing billing audits and adjusting reservation data to ensure financial accuracy. You will regularly contact guests by email, phone, text, SMS to resolve billing issues and payment inquiries based on these findings.
You will work closely with the Communications, Reservations, and Portfolio teams to ensure the accuracy of reservation reporting and to deliver expedient resolutions for payment. You will often need to work cross-collaboratively to process payments for unique reservation circumstances and long-term stays.
Some key duties of this role will be to help ensure that all billing-related transitions and activities are completed for new building transitions, support resolutions with our distribution partners, and manage the processing of long-term stay payment plans.

Experience

  • At least one year of experience in an administrative, night/sales audit, accounts receivable (AR), or billing
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Stripe; accounting background preferred but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills; this role involves multiple ongoing processes that require superior attention to detail
  • You’re highly motivated and able to maintain efficiency while working independently
  • You’re proactive by nature and can act decisively when needed
  • You’re a team player who is committed to uplifting your coworkers and the company

Plus If...

  • You’ve worked in the hospitality industry at some point in your career
  • You’ve worked for small and large enterprise companies

In One Year, You Will Succeed at Kasa by Having:

  • Taken ownership of daily audit and billing resolution processes
  • Helped create new billing processes and improve reservation financial accuracy
  • Contributed to high guest satisfaction scores related to billing support
  • Collaborated with Communications, Reservations, and Portfolio teams to eliminate reservation billing errors and improve financial reporting accuracy

Kasa (Kasa Living) is a tech-driven hospitality powerhouse engineered to orchestrate massive-scale, flexible accommodation networks and intelligent, frictionless guest-navigation workflows. Operating as the technological "infrastructure layer" for the modern real estate and lodging economy, the company eliminates the operational friction of traditional, legacy hospitality management models—which frequently suffer from heavy on-site staffing overhead, disconnected property-silos, and inefficient property-utilization pipelines—by seamlessly deploying advanced virtual front desk telemetry, contactless keyless access control, and cohesive multi-channel distribution frameworks. Moving beyond rigid traditional hotel operator paradigms, Kasa empowers multi-family real estate owners and institutional property investors to dynamically capitalize on short-term and flexible-stay demands with elite, scalable, and audit-ready asset yields. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary operational infrastructure—bolstered by AI-driven guest screening, persistent dynamic pricing algorithms, and deep domain expertise in real estate technology—natively manages multi-region global properties, centralized 24/7 virtual guest operations, and compliance-hardened financial reporting. What sets Kasa apart is its uncompromising dedication to complete lifecycle automation; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive real estate asset demands and accessible, high-velocity digital traveler experiences, the firm enables modern property portfolios to radically accelerate occupancy velocity, eliminate systemic front-desk bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial growth in the modern, AI-transformed property management landscape.
