At Go1, we’re on a mission to help organizations deliver learning and development in more relevant, timely, and effective ways. From a small startup to now a global brand—we’ve grown by solving hard problems, embracing ambiguity, and never standing still.

If you thrive on change, get energy from big, complex challenges, and are excited to grow fast alongside smart, ambitious people, then Go1 might be exactly what you’re looking for. We offer autonomy with accountability, space to experiment, and the opportunity to shape solutions that impact millions of learners worldwide. We don’t have all the answers—and that’s the point. We figure it out together. Every line of code, every conversation, every bold idea helps move us closer to our mission: to enable individuals, organizations, and society to progress. There’s still so much to build—and even more to discover. Go there with us...

We are looking for a GTM Systems Engineer to design, build, and scale the systems that power Go1’s retention engine. This is a hands-on systems engineering role focused on architecture, data, integrations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. You will work across the GTM technology environment and partner closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Learning Services teams to solve the operational problems that most affect GRR, retention, and customer value realization. You will connect systems, improve data models, remove operational friction, introduce reliable automation, and create intelligent workflows that help teams make better decisions and act earlier.

As part of Go1’s AI-native business operations ambition, you will help shape how Customer Success operates in the future: combining human judgment with trusted data, automation, and AI agents.

GTM Systems Engineering

  • Design and improve the systems architecture supporting post-sales execution.
  • Build scalable workflows that separate data, business logic, and user experience.
  • Reduce manual processes, fragmented ownership, and unnecessary tooling complexity.
  • Establish practical standards for reliability, maintainability, documentation, and visibility.
  • Translate operational problems into solutions that can be tested, adopted, and improved.

Post-Sales Partnership

  • Translate Customer Success priorities into scalable systems, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Improve Customer Goals, success planning, account planning, stakeholder management, risk workflows, Business Reviews, and renewal readiness.
  • Support stronger customer value evidence and qualified expansion handoffs.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Learning Services, IPM, Data, and commercial teams to test and adopt new ways of working.
  • Provide targeted support to existing operations when required to maintain continuity.

Data, AI, and Automation

  • Create reliable foundations for reporting, decision-making, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Build and maintain integrations using APIs, webhooks, workflow tools, and other appropriate technologies.
  • Improve data quality and ensure important customer and revenue signals are available where teams need them.
  • Build AI-enabled workflows that help CSMs understand accounts, identify risk, prepare for renewals, and act on customer signals.
  • Connect AI capabilities to live business data and operational systems.
  • Test agent experiences that reduce administrative work and improve the quality and speed of post-sales decisions.
  • Explore how AI-native operators can work alongside CSMs, Customer Success leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Measure whether automation improves CSM capacity, signal quality, adoption, GRR, and retention outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

You will have demonstrated ownership of meaningful systems, automation, or integration problems and be ready to grow your impact across a broader operating environment.

  • Experience in GTM Engineering, Revenue Systems, Revenue Operations, Business Systems, or a similar hands-on technical role.
  • Experience designing workflows, integrations, automations, or data solutions across business systems.
  • Understanding of post-sales processes including customer value realization, health and risk, renewal readiness, retention, and expansion.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another core CRM or GTM platform.
  • Experience with a Customer Success platform such as Gainsight, Totango, ChurnZero is preferred but not essential.
  • Practical experience with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, data modeling, SQL, scripting, or AI-enabled workflows—preferred but not essential.
  • The ability to move from an ambiguous business problem to a working solution, test it with users, and improve it based on evidence.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical teams, Customer Success, and commercial stakeholders.
  • A practical approach to testing, iteration, documentation, and adoption.

The Technology Environment

You will have the opportunity to work across a broad and evolving GTM systems environment, including:

  • Salesforce and related CRM data, workflows, and reporting.
  • Gainsight as the Customer Success platform, with experience in similar tools such as Totango, Planhat, ChurnZero, Vitally, Catalyst, or equivalent.
  • Gong and other conversation-intelligence platforms.
  • Workato, n8n, and other automation and integration tools.
  • Databricks, SQL, and other data and reporting platforms.
  • APIs, webhooks, workflow tools, and emerging AI and agent capabilities.
  • Slack and the wider systems used by Customer Success and commercial teams.

Experience with every platform is not expected. We are interested in how you understand the operational outcome required, learn systems quickly, and apply the appropriate technology to solve the problem.

What This Role Is Not

  • A Customer Success platform administrator under a different title.
  • A reporting-only or dashboard-focused operations role.
  • A project manager coordinating technical work.
  • A role limited to maintaining existing workflows.
