Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, data-fluent Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategist to join our core centralized Growth collective in a full-time, globally remote capacity. Operating with direct strategic alignment to our Customer Success and Field Engineering divisions, you will step up to claim individual operational and technical accountability for shaping how Supabase’s global GTM engine scales. Shifting completely away from standard passive administrative tracking or surface-level spreadsheet logging, you will sit at the high-stakes intersection of corporate strategy, data engineering, and field execution. This position requires a developer-tools marketing veteran with 6+ years of Revenue Operations history who extracts product usage trends fluidly, configures enterprise-grade forecasting mechanisms smoothly, and writes optimized backend data models confidently natively using SQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Revenue Operations Strategy: Own, define, and execute the end-to-end revenue operations strategy with an explicit focus on customer success and field engineering, mapping out pipeline health, forward forecasting models, territory design, and GTM capacity planning.
- Single Source of Truth Governance: Build, audit, and maintain an uncompromised, unified source of data truth across distributed corporate datasets, integrating customer context metrics across HubSpot, BigQuery, Hex, and active product usage signals.
- Developer-Centric Coverage Modeling: Partner peer-to-peer with Sales and Success Leadership to design, iterate, and deploy account coverage models, customer segmentation frameworks, and quota structures that accurately mirror how technical developers discover, adopt, and buy software.
- High-Impact Growth Metrics Tracking: Define and track core growth indicators from top-of-funnel programmatic conversion rates down to detailed Net Retention Rates (NRR), surfacing actionable insights that drive commercial pipeline velocity natively utilizing Lead Generation methodologies.
- RevOps Technology Roadmap Management: Direct the internal RevOps systems architecture, prioritizing tooling investments, managing global SaaS vendor relationships, and rigorously evaluating new platforms against business goals.
- Cross-Functional Financial Synchronization: Collaborate tightly with core Finance cells on revenue forecasting and accrual accuracy, ensuring go-to-market operational frameworks remain perfectly aligned with macro financial data models.
- Data Pipeline Automation Engineering: Partner alongside GTM Engineering squads to wire up automated workflows and data pipelines, ensuring your high-level strategy translates directly into performant working systems.
- Asynchronous Culture Documentation: Operate with ultimate ownership inside a globally distributed team, setting your own strategic agenda, writing crystal-clear technical explanations, and building scalable workflows inside public documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of verified professional history running advanced Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy consulting, Sales Operations execution, growth optimization, or enterprise analytics management at a B2B SaaS or dedicated developer-tools corporation.
- Deep, authoritative technical command of product-led growth (PLG) motions, product-led sales (PLS) frameworks, data pipeline scaffolding, sales territory design, and usage-based monetization triggers.
- Expert-tier background building complex multi-platform data integrations, organizing event taxonomies, and pulling product analytics rows natively using Lead Generation tools.
- Practical operational familiarity writing complex query code, analyzing behavioral customer records, and structuring database models natively utilizing SQL parameters (specifically optimizing inside BigQuery, Hex, or PostgreSQL systems).
- Proven production experience navigating and syncing enterprise technology stacks, demonstrating hands-on fluency across HubSpot and reverse-ETL platforms (specifically Hightouch).
- Outstanding verbal, written, and asynchronous communication attributes in business-fluent English, enabling absolute clarity when coordinating across Finance, Sales, Product, and Engineering cells without losing technical nuance.
- Location Context: Position open to qualified strategy executives based permanently anywhere globally to operate under a 100% remote framework with fully asynchronous scheduling trust.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior commercial strategy history operating explicitly within an open-source enterprise, cloud-native hosting provider, relational database ecosystem, or developer-focused API infrastructure platform.
- Familiarity with processing large-scale technical telemetry datasets or engineering automated usage-based alerting systems inside sales pipelines.
