Your Mission

You own growth for Engine's weddings vertical, one of the most high-intent, high-value use cases in group travel. That means building the acquisition strategy from the ground up, finding the channels and programs that move the needle, and scaling what works. You'll bring a point of view, test it relentlessly, and turn what you learn into a repeatable growth engine.

This isn't just a channel management role. You'll shape how we acquire and retain wedding customers, influence what we build for them, and help define what winning in this space looks like for Engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Acquisition Strategy: Identify the highest-leverage opportunities at the top of the funnel. Build the strategy, translate it into experiments, ship them fast, and scale what works. Digital, field events, referral programs, affiliate, community—nothing is off the table.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Product and Sales to identify what's holding us back from winning more wedding room blocks and help shape the roadmap to close those gaps. You'll bring the customer perspective and the market data.
  • Build Best-In-Class Lifecycle Programs: Partner with our lifecycle team to design end-to-end programs that transform the wedding customer experience, from the first touchpoint online to post-checkout. Every interaction should feel intentional and worth talking about.
  • Ship the Work: This is a hands-on role. Where you have the skills, execute directly. Where you don't, pull in the right people. You move fast, keep momentum, and don't wait for perfect.
  • Instrument and Learn: You track what matters, pull your own data, and use it to make sharper decisions. You build a learning culture around your experiments, wins and losses both.
  • AI-Native Growth: Engine's growth team uses AI as a core part of how we work. Leverage modern tooling to move faster, personalize at scale, and run more tests without depending on engineering or ops.

Qualifications

  • Strong growth marketing background with a track record of building and scaling acquisition programs across paid, organic, referral, field, or other channels
  • Experience running structured experimentation: hypothesis, test, learn, scale, and share your learnings. You don’t just stop when the experiment is done either. If you see positive signal, you make the case to get more resources to grow.
  • Comfort with data. You pull your own analysis, build models, and back your strategy with numbers. Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, SQL, or similar is a plus
  • Strong cross-functional operator who knows how to work with Product, Design, and Lifecycle teams to get things built and shipped
  • AI fluency. You use AI to multiply your output, not as a novelty
  • High ownership mentality. You treat this vertical like a GM, not like a channel manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in B2C or marketplace growth where the buyer is high-intent and emotionally invested
  • Experience with paid media platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, or similar) and lifecycle or CRM platforms (Salesforce, Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, or similar)
  • 0-to-1 growth experience building something from early traction, not just managing at scale

Tech Stack

Salesforce, Claude, Amplitude, Customer.io, Outreach, Snowflake, SQL
