About nello: nello is a dynamic, rapidly growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brand on an absolute mission to deliver vibrant, high-quality products and memorable brand moments across both physical retail and digital ecosystems. Driven by a fast-paced, scrappy, and highly collaborative culture, nello unifies marketing, sales, and creative divisions to execute high-impact product launches and cohesive brand storytelling. The organization provides high-agency junior designers with an uncompromised remote canvas to touch a little bit of everything—from digital performance ads to real-world packaging—accelerating their professional growth while shaping a holistic brand identity.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, self-starting Junior Graphic Designer to join our core centralized Brand team in a full-time remote capacity across the United States. In this versatile creative seat, you will step up to claim individual operational accountability for designing across a wide array of mediums, working closely alongside our Art Director and cross-functional marketing squads. Shifting completely away from monotonous, single-task production roles, you will act as a generalist bridging digital marketing assets with physical retail designs. This position requires an early-career creative with 1–3 years of experience who maneuvers Figma fluidly, models 2D motion graphics smoothly natively using Adobe tools, and takes ownership of their own timelines utilizing modern project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel Marketing Design: Design, execute, and scale highly engaging creative assets across email sequences, paid and organic social media channels, web landing pages, and macro marketing campaigns natively utilizing Graphic Design principles.
  • Advertising and Promotional Graphics: Create striking digital advertisements and promotional materials that feel inherently on-brand while driving explicit consumer action and conversion.
  • 2D Motion Graphics Integration: Bring static concepts to life by designing and animating 2D motion graphics for digital ad units, social media stories, and dynamic campaign content.
  • Physical Brand Activations and Packaging: Support real-world marketing moments, designing collateral for PR mailers, brand activations, retail sales decks, and physical product packaging displays as needed.
  • Asset Versioning and File Preparation: Resize, adapt, and version out core creative assets across differing platform specifications, meticulously prepping files for both digital distribution and physical print production (managing bleeds, color modes, and margins).
  • Creative Brief Execution: Take ownership of incoming creative briefs, collaborating effectively with Sales and Marketing divisions to bring strong conceptual ideas and thoughtful execution to every launch.
  • Brand Cohesion and Quality Assurance: Maintain absolute consistency across all touchpoints, keeping a sharp eye on detail to ensure everything feels cohesive, polished, and on-brand.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of verified professional history running commercial graphic design (real-world experience through in-house roles, active freelance, or structured internships is strongly preferred).
  • Deep, authoritative technical command of visual layout, typography curation, color theory, and overall design taste.
  • Expert-tier capability navigating digital design environments natively utilizing Figma and the comprehensive Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Practical operational familiarity with motion design workflows; you possess a solid understanding of timeline animation and can confidently execute 2D motion tasks (proficiency over specialization).
  • Demonstrated experience operating within digital marketing design loops, specifically designing for email, performance ads, and social media ecosystems.
  • Baseline understanding of print production standards, including file prep, bleeds, and CMYK color modes.
  • Outstanding project management skills with self-starter energy, displaying the ability to juggle multiple deliverables using modern PM tools without waiting to be told what to do.
  • Location Context: Position open exclusively to qualified designers based permanently and resident within the **United States** to operate under a 100% remote layout.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior commercial design history operating explicitly within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector or physical retail environment.
  • Hands-on functional familiarity utilizing 3D modeling software to create realistic product mockups.
  • Strong custom illustration skills to inject unique artistic flair into brand campaigns.

What We Offer

  • Competitive United States Salaried Blueprint: An attractive full-time junior baseline compensation package, calibrated precisely to reward your design craft and scrappy execution, supplemented by participation in the corporate **Equity Plan**.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, shape, and code-design the visual architecture power-routing growth for a fast-scaling CPG brand.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a flexible distributed workplace arrangement, complete scheduling trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction across America.
  • Immediate baseline access to premium health protections, featuring **100% Fully Paid Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance** alongside fully paid basic life insurance.
  • Engaging corporate culture featuring regular Quarterly Company Onsites to build stronger relationships, kick off critical workstreams, and enjoy time together.
