Global Events Manager

Your Mission

Hawk is looking for a Global Events Manager to build and run our in-person and digital marketing events program. This is a hands-on, execution-led role that also requires you to understand the financial crime and compliance industry and own pipeline, revenue, and brand goals in key Hawk regions.

You'll own the events calendar end-to-end — event selection, planning, briefing, logistics, on-site delivery, and post-event follow-up and nurture — working closely with the other members of the Demand Generation team and collaborating with Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Marketing Operations to make sure every event delivers on its objectives and maximizes return on investment.

Job Responsibilities

In-person events

• Build and maintain the longlist of third-party conferences, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities across target markets, prioritizing by pipeline potential and audience fit
• Plan and run roundtables and executive dinners that bring together prospects, customers, and Hawk executives
• Lead planning and delivery of Hawk's customer summits, coordinating content, speakers, venue, and attendee experience
• Manage the pre-event process for every event: setting clear goals for each event, venue sourcing, budgeting, contracts, staffing, booth/stand design, collaborating with the Business Development team to ensure meetings are booked, and pre-event promotion is delivered; manage collateral and shipping
• Be responsible for the on-site experience for staff and customers — even when you personally are not on-site
• Oversee the post-event follow-up process, ensuring SLAs for lead management are met and that appropriate nurture programs are created and followed
• Manage crystal-clear communication with all event stakeholders to ensure clarity and success
• Partner with Sales on pre-event target lists, meeting scheduling, and post-event lead handoff and reporting
• Work with Marketing Operations on post-event reporting
• Travel to the US and larger EMEA and APAC events and ensure hand-off to colleagues for smaller regional events

Digital events

• Build and run Hawk's webinar program end-to-end: topic planning, speaker recruitment, registration, promotion, run-of-show, and post-event follow-up
• Work with Product Marketing and Content to develop webinar themes that support the broader campaign calendar
• Collaborate with partner organizations on co-hosted webinars
• Manage the webinar platform and related tooling, including registration pages, reminder/follow-up sequences, and integration with HubSpot
• Track and report on registration, attendance, engagement, and pipeline contribution for each digital event
• Pilot new digital formats (panels, fireside chats, virtual roundtables) as the program matures

Your Profile

• 3–5+ years managing B2B marketing events, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or a related enterprise software category
• A track record running both in-person events (conferences, dinners, summits) and digital events (webinars) end-to-end
• Strong project management skills — comfortable juggling multiple events at different stages simultaneously, on budget and on deadline
• Experience with event and webinar tooling and marketing automation/CRM platforms (HubSpot)
• Vendor and budget management experience, including contract negotiation
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the judgment to represent Hawk in front of customers and prospects
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, global team spanning the US and Europe
