The General Manager of the Clinic Purchasing Platform is responsible for the performance and operations of Vetcove's flagship purchasing platform and many of the company's most important enterprise customer relationships.
You will lead the teams responsible for Account Management and Customer Experience, overseeing a combined organization of approximately 15 customer-facing professionals through two experienced managers. Together, these teams support Vetcove's largest corporate customers, driving adoption, retention, operational excellence, and long-term partner success.
You will be accountable for the success of Vetcove's largest enterprise partners. That means understanding their business, identifying opportunities to deepen each relationship, coordinating execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, and ensuring Vetcove consistently delivers on its commitments.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that combines operational execution, people leadership, and commercial strategy. You'll be responsible for developing your managers, scaling the organization as the business grows, and ensuring Vetcove continues to deliver an exceptional experience on this platform.
What you'll do
- Own the performance and operations of Vetcove's Clinic Purchasing Platform
- Lead and develop two experienced managers responsible for Account Management and Customer Experience, overseeing a combined organization of approximately 15 customer-facing professionals.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to prioritize customer needs and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Gather customer and market feedback to help inform commercial strategy, product direction, and long-term investment decisions.
- Review and provide guidance on executive-facing customer materials, including proposals, business reviews, strategic plans, and performance updates.
- Continuously improve the processes, metrics, and operating rhythms used by the Account Management and Customer Experience organizations.
- Conduct regular business reviews with your managers to evaluate account health, identify opportunities and risks, and ensure teams are executing against priorities.
- Travel up to 25% to meet with enterprise customers for strategic planning sessions, business reviews, and executive relationship building.
You should have
- Bachelors Degree
- 8+ years of account management, relationship-based sales, or similar experience
- Previous people management responsibilities, including experience managing managers or leading teams through other leaders
- Proven experience managing complex enterprise relationships
- An eagerness to be involved in the details of ongoing projects, despite a high-level role & title
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Interest in data and more quantitative problem solving
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
- Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A positive attitude and team-based mentality; excellent collaboration skills
- Comfortability in a fast-paced environment
